The Dyson V15 is costly, but it’s worth every penny. It has excellent performance on all surfaces. It is excellent for many clearing applications, including deep cleaning carpets and removing long hair strands. Its battery life is unimpressive, but you can extend its runtime by buying an extra battery.
The Dreame V11 brings a lot to the table for a reasonable price. It is ideal for users whose homes have mostly hard floors and smooth surfaces since its soft condenser isn’t intended for deep cleaning carpets. The Dyson V15 trounces the Xiaomi V11 with a score of 3-0, and they have one tie. The Dyson V15 is ideal for both vacuuming hard floors and deep cleaning carpets and has a richer collection of attachments. But that’s just the tip of the iceberg!

Suction Power
At the maximum vacuum setting, the Xiaomi V11 vs Dyson V15 generates a maximum suction of 150 AW and 230 AW, respectively. On paper, the Dyson V15 seems significantly more powerful than the Dreame V11, but my cleaning tests say no. Both performed well, but there were still, of course, distinctions.
Hard Floor
Both the Xiaomi V11 vs Dyson V15 (with the Laser Slim Fluffy Cleaner Head) extracted all sorts of dirt from my floors. They are real bombs at the maximum suction setting, and I didn’t have anything to complain about. Their nozzles are a bit narrow, making it more time-consuming for me to cover my large spaces, but this is not a big deal.
Carpets
This is where I saw the significant difference between the Dreame V11 vs Dyson V15. The Dreame V11 didn’t shine brightly on my long- and short-fiber carpets. It just removed 86% of the debris, and it wasn’t called deep cleaning. Apparently, its soft roller worked only on hard floors and was not good enough to capture everything on the carpet.
The Dyson V15, on the other hand, picked up everything on my carpet after just one glance with the digital motorbar cleaning head. I wasn’t sure if it left anything behind, but my naked eye couldn’t detect anything.
Hair Removal
The Dreame V11’s cleaner head had only one soft roller, so only a small amount of long hair stayed on it. This roller could be disassembled and cleaned, making maintaining it child’s play.
On the flip side, the Dyson V15’s motorbar head has a row of fangs designed to minimize tangles, something called Anti Hair- Wrap technology. So it is also another great choice for those whose pets are shedding like crazy.

Dimensions And Storage
The dimensions of the Xiaomi V11 vs Dyson V15 are 48 x 11 x 6.5 inches and 49.6 x 10.5 x 9.8 inches, respectively. Like most cordless stick vacuums, these models can’t stand by themselves. So you can lay them on the ground, lean them somewhere, or store and charge them at the same time by placing them on the wall charger.
The Dyson V15, with a wand clip, can hold two attachments, while its charging station has room for two other attachments. The Dreame V11, on the other hand, has no onboard storage, and its wall bracket (with screws and dowels) has room for three attachments. That said, you must store some attachments in your cabinet or another location, whether you choose one or the other.
Weight And Maneuverability
Weight is another factor that should be taken into account since no one wants to struggle with a heavy machine for their daily vacuuming, which often lasts a while. Fortunately, the Dreame V11 vs Dyson V15 are not very heavy (at 6.2 pounds and 6.8 pounds, respectively).
Nevertheless, the second one is a little top-heavy, which implies that if used for a long time, it could make people with weak wrists experience hand fatigue. As for the Xiaomi V11, I barely noticed its weight since it was well-distributed, so vacuuming has become an effortless housework task for me.

The Dyson V11 uses a 3500 mAh battery, whereas the Dyson V15 is powered by a 3600 mAh battery. But, regardless of the cleaning mode used, the Dreame V11’s battery life exceeds the Dyson V15’s. Maybe it’s because the Dyson V15 produces stronger suction, resulting in shorter battery life, I guess.
The only compromise of the Dreame V11 is that its battery isn’t replaceable, and it needs about 4 hours to be fully charged. Hence, it would be troublesome if this one ran out of battery before you got the job done. But, in fact, it never ran out of battery while it was in the middle of a vacuuming cycle, so I think this is not a big deal!
The Dyson V15’s charging time is about 3.3 hours, and its battery is removable. So you might consider buying an extra battery to extend the running time (I highly recommend this).
Dust Cup Capacity And Filter
Winner: Tie
The Xiaomi V11 features a 0.6-liter dust chamber. This chamber can’t be taken off the handle, but the “opening downwards” mechanism makes it easy to empty it. This dust cup can be emptied contact-free by turning it upside down, pressing a button (which features a trash can symbol) above the cup to open the lid, and then all the contents will fall straight into the trash can underneath.
The dust cup of the Dyson V15 has a capacity of 0.75 liters. It’s slightly larger than the V11’s container, which means it requires less frequent emptying. The mechanism for emptying it is the same as the V11, but this is generally easy, quick, and allergy-friendly. All you need to do is hold a lever and perform the up and down motion (usually more than once) until nothing stays inside it.
As for the Dreame V11, all the collected dust particles will pass through five filters before reaching the HEPA (High-Efficiency particulate air) filter. All of these filters can be rinsed as usual to prolong their life. The Dyson V15 only comes with a HEPA filter and features a sealed system that prevents allergies from leaking out of the unit.
Both have somewhat large and easy-to-empty dust cups and quality filter systems. Thus, I think neither of them is ahead of the game.

The Xiaomi V11 vs Dyson V15 share a pistol-like trigger that is used to activate the machine. But the first one allows locking the trigger with the push of a button, so you won’t have to hold down the trigger constantly. This is more comfortable for vacuuming for a long time.
Display Screen
The Dreame V11 is fitted with a practical color OLED display. It shows the current battery status (in percent) and the chosen suction mode. It also enables you to choose between different languages, which is a nice extra.
The Dyson V15’s LCD screen displays more information, including the current vacuuming mode, estimated remaining run time, maintenance alerts, and particulate data.
The particulate data involves how many vacuumed dust particles there are, and they are classified into four sizes: 10, 60, 180, and 500 microns. How can Dyson do that? The answer is the onboard piezo sensor.
