Tineco PURE ONE S11 vs TANGO are two popular cordless vacuum cleaners from Tineco. Both vacuums have many similarities, such as their powerful suction, long battery life, and lightweight design. However, there are also some key differences that may make the TANGO a better choice for you.
The Tineco PURE ONE S11 Tango is typically more expensive than the Tineco PURE ONE S11, likely due to its added features, such as the LED soft-roller power brush and improved filtration system.
The Tineco PURE ONE S11, on the other hand, is a more affordable choice for your budget. This vacuum is similar in design to the Tango, with pretty much all the features of a good cordless stick vacuum cleaner, such as a HEPA filter, reasonable-size dirt bin, great suction power, LED display, and so on.

Tineco PURE ONE S11 vs TANGO: Differences
In terms of cleaning performance, the Tineco S11 Tango has the upper hand.
Both machines come with an LED Multi-tasker Power Brush. According to my experience, this cleaning head is better for cleaning carpets than hard floors. In my low-pile carpet cleaning test, I used this nozzle to suck up debris such as flour, sugar, cat sand, and grain crumbs. As a result, the machine picks up most of the objects without struggle.
However, when on hard floors, this cleaning head can only deal with fine dirt and debris, while it’s really hard for the vacuum to suck up.
Fortunately, the Tineco PURE ONE S11 Tango version also features an LED soft-roller power brush. This one has a soft roller that is made of woven nylon and soft bristles. This unique design allows it to effectively pick up dust, debris, and fine particles from hard floors without scratching or damaging the surface. Thus, this cleaning head is specially designed for cleaning hard floors as well as dealing with large debris.
This is the main reason why the Tineco Pure One S11 Tango is slightly more expensive than the original Tineco Pure One S11.
Tineco PURE ONE S11 vs TANGO: Similarities
Pet hair performance
Both machines have powerful suction and come with a mini power brush designed specifically for picking up pet hair. This tool works well on carpets, upholstery, and other surfaces where pet hair increases to accumulate. The standard cleaning head is also effective at picking up pet hair on hard floors.
However, a lot of hair wraps around the brush roll of the cleaning head, which needs cleaning after each vacuuming. If you have a lot of hair to deal with at home, these vacuums will not be my first choice.
Dirt bin and filtration
Dirt bin
The two machines feature a 0.5-liter dustbin, which is easy to remove, empty, and clean. It has a simple and hygienic design that prevents dust from flying back into the air when emptying.
Filtration
Both machines feature a four-stage filtration system that captures 99.99% of particles as small as 0.3 microns, including pet hair, dust mites, and allergies. This system includes a pre-filter, a mesh filter, a HEPA filter, and a cyclone system.
The pre-motor filter captures larger particles such as hair and dust as well as protects the motor from dust and debris, and the HEPA filter captures 99.99% of particles as small as 0.3 microns. The HEPA filter is the post-motor filter, which can be rinsed in water. Tineco recommends users wash the HEPA filter every three months and replace it every 12 months.
Besides, this is a fully-sealed filtration system that forces all air passing through the vacuum to be filtered, preventing any unfiltered air from escaping back into the room. This makes the Tineco PURE ONE S11 Tango an excellent choice for those with allergies or respiratory issues, as it helps to keep the air in your home clean and healthy.
Design and convenience
Dimensions and weight
These two vacuum models share the same design. They all weigh 5.78 pounds and have dimensions of 10.4 x 11.3 x 43.5 inches. The weight is fairly average for a cordless stick vacuum, making it easy to carry around and maneuver. The dimensions are relatively compact, which is convenient for storage in smaller spaces.
Additionally, their weight in hand is about 3.5 pounds, which is rather comfortable for a handheld.
Maneuverability
These two vacuum cleaners have decent maneuverability due to their lightweight design and versatile cleaning tools. This makes it easy to carry around the house and up and down the stairs.
In addition, both machines come with a set of cleaning tools that are designed to tackle different surfaces and types of debris. The LED soft-roller power brush of the Tineco S11 Tango is perfect for cleaning hard floors and picking up large debris, while the multi-tasker power brush is ideal for carpets and removing pet hair.
Moreover, they also feature a detachable handheld vacuum, which can be used for quick cleanups and hard-to-reach areas. The handheld mode is lightweight and easy to maneuver.
Storage
Both machines come with a wall-mounted charging dock that can be used to store the vacuum cleaner. You can install the charging dock on the wall in a convenient location, such as a closet or utility room, and then hang the vacuum on the dock when you’re not using it. This not only keeps the vacuum off the floor and out of the way but also ensures that it’s always fully charged and ready to go when you need it.
Alternatively, if you prefer not to use the wall-mounted charging dock, you can simply store the vacuum cleaner on a shelf or in a closet.
Noise level
These vacuum cleaners have a noise level of around 70-72 decibels, which is similar to most cordless stick vacuums on the market. While it is not the quietest vacuum available, it is not excessively loud and should not be a significant disturbance during use.
Remember that the noise level of a vacuum cleaner still depends on the suction mode of the machine and the surface on which the machine works.
Battery
These two machines come with a 25.2V lithium-ion battery that provides up to 40 minutes of run time on a single charge. However, this can vary depending on the power mode and attachments being used. The battery is removable and can be charged separately, allowing you to have a spare battery for extended cleaning sessions.
The charging time for the battery is around 3 to 4 hours, which is relatively fast compared to some other cordless vacuums on the market.
