Tineco Pure One S11 Ultra vs Tango: I found no difference between them. Maybe it’s two different names of the same model.

Battery22

The Pure One S11 has a wall-mounted rack to hold it upright and store three accessories. To charge the battery, attach the charging station to the wall near an outlet and park the vacuum (or the battery individually) there.

This frustrates users who don’t want to make holes in their walls. But, anyway, it’s still more convenient than the Dyson vacuum’s wall charger since it has a slot for a spare battery. It would be better if the charger could directly charge the battery.

Weight And Maneuverability

The Pure One S11 has a high-tech look – its handheld unit and battery have a clear plastic casing designed to show off the circuit boards. I have also seen this design in some other models from Tineco, such as the A11 Hero and A11 Master. Because of its mostly plastic construction, it is very light at 5.7 lbs and decreases to 3.5 lbs if reconfigured into a portable vacuum.

The S11 has a swivel head, which can be turned easily with a twist of the wrist, but I could turn it at a 90 degrees angle as I did with my Dyson V11. The only downside is that its floorhead came up off the floor when I tried to lay it flat. This made it a little bit difficult for me to vacuum under furniture.

Battery Life And Charging Time

Battery LifeAuto mode: ≈ 34-45mins
Highest mode: ≈  11 mins
Charging Time≈ 200 mins

The S11 has two cleaning modes: Max and Auto. In max mode, the vacuum produces peak suction and drains the battery the fastest. With the auto mode enabled, the vacuum can automatically adjust its suction power thanks to the dust sensor. This is among the cool features, and I also found it in a few stick vacuums, such as the Dyson V15 and V12.

The purchase includes only one battery, so I recommend purchasing a second battery to double the runtime. As mentioned above, its wall charging station has a slot to charge the second battery (on top of the station), so you can quickly get two fully charged batteries.

Dust Cup And Filtration System

The Pure One S11 features a 0.6-liter dustbin, which is neither too small nor particularly large. Emptying this dust cup is a breeze: press the release button on the side, the bottom lid will open, and then all the contents will go. It’s also easy to remove the entire dust canister for wiping, but avoid getting it wet since it contains the dust/debris sensor.

The vacuum has pre-motor and post-motor (HEPA) filters. The pre-filter can be rinsed in water and can also be washed using the included pre-filter cleaning attachment – see the ins and outs of using this tool here.

The filtration system can trap up to 99.97% of dust particles as small as 0.3 microns. Better yet, the S11 has a closed system, which is a big selling point. The air that is sucked inside the vacuum has no other way to escape before passing through the filters.

Utilities

The trigger is located in the right place so that I can access it with my thumb. The button used to switch between the two modes (Auto and Max) is on the top of the handheld – I wish it were within the range of my thumb so I didn’t have to use the other hand.

There is a big circular LED display on top of the handheld part, which will alert if the roller is tangled, the dust/debris sensor needs to be maintained, the air channel is blocked, and the machine is connected to wifi. The most distinctive part of this screen is that it contains a loop that can change color (blue and red) depending on the amount of debris in the vacuumed air.

It is possible to connect the vacuum with the Tineco smartphone app on your smartphone. Through this app, I could set the suction, monitor the dust amount, work status, work hours, filter status, and battery charge. It isn’t a widely used feature on stick vacuums, and it wasn’t really helpful for me. The only thing that I need is an estimate of the remaining battery life on the screen.
