I get commissions for purchases made through links in this post. Read more

In today’s comparison, I will review, compare, and choose the better model between the Tineco A11 vs Samsung Jet 75.

The Samsung Jet 75 is costly, but you get what you pay for. With insanely strong suction and two floorheads, it can work great on both hard floors and carpets. One of its most striking features is the Clean Station, which makes emptying the dust cup easier and more hygienic.

If you are on a tight budget and looking for a powerful, lightweight, and flexible cordless vacuum, the Tineco A11 Master will impress you. It has good suction, two lithium-ion batteries, a dust cup that is easy to empty, washable air filters, and a lot of attachments for cleaning different surfaces.

Tineco A11 Vs Samsung Jet 75: Differences

The Samsung Jet 75 wins 2-0 and ties twice against the Tineco A11. The former has excellent performance on both hard floors and carpets. In addition, it is equipped with a convenient display screen, features a great filter system, and comes with a Clean Station for hygienic emptying. All of those make it an ideal choice for people with severe allergies.

Cleaning Performance

Winner: Samsung Jet 75

Suction Power And Floorheads

The Samsung Jet 75 produces insane suction power up to 200 AW (air watts) on the highest setting, which is higher than the Dyson V11 (185 AW) but slightly lower than the Dyson V15 Detect. In my opinion, this suction is more than enough for all real-world cleaning uses.

The A11 Master’s maximum suction power, on the other hand, is 120 AW. It is slightly more powerful than the Dyson V8, but quite modest compared to recent cordless models.

Now, let’s discuss another factor affecting how well a vacuum performs on hard floors and carpets – the floorhead. The Tineco A11 comes with a multi-floor motorized brushroll and a soft roller brush (note that I am referring to the Tineco A11 Master version), whereas the turbo Samsung Jet 75 has two cleaning heads: turbo action and soft roller. So they are all equipped with floorheads specially designed for vacuuming hard floors and deep cleaning carpets.

Hard Floor

The Samsung Jet 75 had a top-notch performance on my hard floor. With maximum suction enabled, it could pick up all debris, including larger ones like cereals and fruit loops, on this type of surface. The Dyson V15 also achieved this with the Laser Slim Fluffy floorhead.

On the other hand, on the highest suction setting, the Tineco A11 Master removed most of the debris (98%) in just one pass, and I just had to do an extra pass to pick up the remaining. That’s an impressive result, which the Tineco A11 Hero couldn’t achieve because it has a soft roller.

I also tried to use the Jet 75 in a wet mode, which means using it as a mop, by combining it with the Spinning Sweeper Brush attachment. I could mop the entire bare floor in my house within half an hour using two pairs of single-use pads, and I have found it easier and more convenient than using a conventional mop. Combining mopping and vacuuming in a single device is a great initiative!

Carpets

The Tineco A11 performed well on both my low and high-pile carpets. My carpets got cleaner quickly, but closer inspection revealed some deeper debris and hair. Once again, I had to make an extra sweep to clean up.

As for the Samsung Jet 75, it was initially so strong that it lifted my low carpet close to the floorhead and stopped the roller from rotating. I considered this a testament to the Jet 75’s strong suction, and here is how I avoided the issue: turn the vacuum off, turn it again to start the roller and set the vacuum to the mid (or minimum) setting. I didn’t have the same issues with my thick carpets.

Tineco A11 Vs Samsung Jet 75’s attachments

Personally, the attachments and tools that come with Tineco A11 Master are more than enough for most apartments and homes. As for the Samsung Jet 75, it left a sour taste in my mouth regarding the number of attachments, especially considering its exorbitant price tag.

The Samsung Jet 75’s low-profile wall charging station has slots for two attachments. So you can mount the vacuum on the wall for simple and convenient storage and charging. It’s also compact enough to be put inside your closet, and you can remove the battery to charge it anywhere. Unlike the Samsung Jet 90, there’s no charging slot for the spare battery, so you can only charge one battery at once.

On the other hand, the Tineco A11 vacuum has a “powerhouse” used for storing the vacuum and two attachments, as well as charging two batteries at the same time. This is the right storage solution for those who don’t want to drill their walls.

I like the wall-mounted charging station since it’s a neat solution for storing the vacuum without separating it into smaller parts. And if you prefer wall-hanging storage like the Jet 75, consider buying the Tineco A11 Master + version, which also comes with a wall charging/docking station. This wall station can hold/charge the vacuum cleaner and the extra battery, and has room for two accessories. Sadly, these machines have no onboard storage for attachments.

Weight And Maneuverability

Tineco A11 vs Samsung Jet 75, at 5.4 and 5.78 pounds, respectively, are considerably lighter than many cordless stick vacuums. So they are ideal to use for extended vacuuming sessions. They are a bit heavy in the hand since most of the weight is in the handle, but this is not a big deal.

Both have swivel heads, but the Samsung Jet 75’s versatility takes the lead, thanks to the 180-degree swivel design that enables you to make a sharp turn with ease.

Battery Life

Tineco A11 MasterSamsung Jet 75
Minimum battery life≈ 7.5 mins≈ 11 mins
Maximum battery life≈ 31 mins≈ 46 mins
Charging time≈ 214 minutes≈ 217 minutes

The Tineco A11 has two 2,500 mAh Li-ion batteries, expanding total runtime to over one hour. But it will still quickly run out of battery when the maximum suction setting is used, so it isn’t ideal for thorough cleaning sessions.

As for the Samsung Jet 75, its maximum battery life was measured at 71 minutes, but this only applies to usage at the lowest suction level. If the machine is set at the highest suction setting, it still rapidly runs out of battery. The battery is detachable, but you have to buy an extra battery since the purchase includes only one. Recharge time is quite long, so having a spare battery is a good fail-safe to have.

Dust Cup Capacity And Filters

Winner: Samsung Jet 75

The Jet 75 sports a 0.8-liter dust cup, and one of its most interesting features is its compatibility with the Clean Station (included with the purchase) – Samsung’s hygienic emptying solution.

Using this unit is super easy: remove the dust cup from the Jet 75’s handle, place it upside down on the hole of the Clean Station, and then it will automatically pull out all the contents. It is highly recommended for people with severe allergies. The Clean Station contains a disposable bag, which will need to be replaced after several emptying cycles.

The Clean Station

The Tineco A11’s 0.6-liter dust cup is also easy to empty: just press the release button, open the bottom door, and all the dirt will come out. The bin can also be rinsed if it becomes really dirty. Just remember to let it dry completely before reattaching it to the machine.

The Tineco A11 features pre-motor and post-motor filters, which are all washable. The post-filter is HEPA-grade which can trap 99.9% of micro-dust. I love the pre-filter washing tool, which I can use to rinse the pre-filter instead of manually cleaning it as with the post-filter. After some time, both pre-and post-motor filters will need to be replaced. New filters can be bought online here.

The Jet 75 features a great filter system that optimizes airflow. It is designed with an ultra-fine dust filter (HEPA filter), a metal mesh grille filter (cyclone filter), and a washable micro filter (pre-motor filter) to capture 99.999% of microdust, pet dander, pollen, and other nonliving allergens for cleaner air in your home.

Utilities

 LED Headlight

Also, both the Tineco A11’s motorized brushroll and bare floor soft roller feature extremely bright LED lights. This feature is a game changer when cleaning in low-light areas, like under sofas or in tight corners.

Unfortunately, none of the vacuums in the Samsung Jet line currently include headlights. I don’t know why Samsung chose not to add them to these units.

Display Screen

The Samsung Jet 75 is designed with a digital display where you can check some notifications, including the current power mode and brush type, and monitor alerts like clogs, airflow issues, a lack of filters, etc. But it doesn’t show what is considered most important for a cordless vacuum – estimated remaining battery life/runtime.

On/Off And Control Buttons

You can turn on and switch between four different modes by pressing a few buttons on the handle: the ‘MIN’ mode (energy-efficient), the ‘MID’ mode (default), the ‘MAX’ mode (higher-power), and the ‘JET’ mode, which is for removing stubborn debris.

The Tineco A11 Master is also very easy to use. There’s only one button that activates the MAX suction mode. There is a clip that can lock down the trigger, keeping the vacuum running continuously and without holding down the trigger.
