LG have become the world’s largest home appliance manufacturer. I still remember how their TV made my heart skip a beat with its sophisticated design and modern features. So will they achieve the glory of the vacuuming niche, which is already filled by various products from many big names? My comparison of the Tineco A11 vs LG A9 will show you. I will review and compare the LG CordZero A9 Ultimate and the Tineco A11 Master here, and they’re tied.
The CordZero A9 Ultimate has slightly better overall cleaning performance and comes with a power punch nozzle, which is great for hair/fur removal. I love its self-standing charging station because it can charge two batteries simultaneously and doesn’t require wall drilling. Its runtime is decent and can be doubled thanks to the two included batteries.
The Tineco A11 Master, on the other hand, takes the lead with a larger dust cup, a quality filter system, and LED headlights that make it easier to pick up dust in poorly lit areas. On top of that, it’s significantly cheaper.

Tineco A11 vs LG A9: Differences
No one is the winner here. The LG A9 shines in cleaning performance and storage capability, while the Tineco A11 has an edge in dust cup and filtration system and has some nifty features.

Suction Power And Floorhead
Regarding the factors that affect how well a vacuum performs, I think two big ones need to be taken into account: suction power and included floorheads.
With the highest power mode enabled, the Tineco A11 produces a maximum suction power of 120 air watts (AW). The LG CordZero A9 Ultimate peaks at 140 AW, which is far behind its sibling, the LG CordZero Kormpressor (200 AW).
Both come out of the box with two floorheads: a soft roller and a multi-surface roller.

Hard Floor
With a dedicated soft roller attached, both the Tineco A11 vs LG A9 picked up everything on my hard floors (including fine dust and small to large debris) like beasts. That’s something models without soft rollers, such as the Tineco A11 Hero, are far from accomplishing because they tend to push larger debris in front of the floor head instead of sucking it up.
However, one thing that the Tineco A11 has over its rival is its floorhead fitted with some LEDs. I always consider headlights one of the must-have things for vacuums since my ceiling lights can’t keep all the areas illuminated. It’s puzzling that a tech behemoth like LG would forget to put some light bulbs on their CordZero vacuum.
Carpet
On my carpets, the Tineco A11 achieved a deep cleaning rate of about 93% – Not an impressive score, but not bad either. So it took me a few more sweeps to clean up every last trace.
The LG A9, on the other hand, could remove up to 98% of the total debris on my carpets. It is a very high percentage.
Hair Removal
Both the Tineco A11 vs LG A9 picked up hair and fur on my hard floors and carpets like champs. But there was a moderate amount of long hair (10 inches or longer) wrapped around their rollers (of the multi-surface floorheads). This is an age-old problem for models without anti-tangle technology. Thankfully, untangling the roller is a breeze.
I found that the LG A9’s power punch nozzle is a superstar for hair removal since it can pick up hair without tangling problems, which the Tineco A11’s mini power brush can’t.

If asked what I like most about the LG CordZero A9, I would say the free-standing charging station since I’m opposed to drilling holes in my wall. Like the Samsung Jet 90‘s charging station, it can store/charge the vacuum, house the attachments, and charge two batteries simultaneously.
Better yet, the CordZero A9’s charging station is also wall-mountable, like the Dyson V15‘s charger, to keep the vacuum and its attachments out of reach of pets and children.
Not many models come with such a self-standing charging station – I know that Dyson also has their own Floor Dok, but it’s a costly add-on, and it doesn’t have a slot for the second battery. LG engineers are even ahead of their time with an All-in-One tower (which comes with the LG CordZero Kormpressor): it hides all attachments inside its casing, automatically charges the vacuum, and empties the dust cup hands-free.
The Tineco A11 Master, on the other hand, includes a dual charging powerhouse also used for charging both included batteries simultaneously and storing the vacuum and all of its accessories. But you must remove the handheld unit from the wand to place it in its dedicated slot.
Weight And Maneuverability
The lightweight property is among the very endearing properties that both the Tineco A11 vs LG A9 possess. They are light enough to be used by elderly people and even children (under the supervision of adults). However, the motor and dust cup assembly are in the handle, meaning that the weight isn’t balanced.
These vacuums are also versatile enough to be used in two configurations (stick and handheld). In the handheld configuration, they are a bit lighter. And with the proper interchangeable tools, I could clean hard-to-reach areas with ease.
The big selling feature of the LG A9 is its telescopic wand, which allows me to increase or decrease its length to reach higher and for more compact storage. This is also a feature that I found in the Samsung Jet 90.
Battery Life (With Motorized Attachment Attached)

Power mode: ≈ 19 mins | ||
Max mode: ≈ 7 mins | Turbo mode: ≈ 6 mins | |
Charging Time | ≈ 3.5 hours | ≈ 3.5 hours |
The Tineco A11 Master is powered by a 2500 mAh lithium-ion battery. The best part is that it comes with two batteries, increasing the total runtime to over one hour. If used with a non-motorized attachment or suction-only tool, it can run even longer.
Likewise, out of the box, you will get the LG CordZero A9 Ultimate and two detachable 2300 mAh lithium-ion batteries. They can be charged simultaneously, so you always have two fully charged ones on hand.
Dust Cup And Filtration System
Winner: Tineco A11 Master
Tineco says that the A11’s dustbin can hold up to 0.6 liters of dry dirt, which is enough for most cleaning tasks. Emptying it is easy with a one-touch process: just take it off the machine and push a release button to open the trap door to let all the contents out. I sometimes had to use my hands to get rid of the clumps of hair stuck deep inside the cup because of the position of the pre-filter.
The A9 Ultimate comes with a 0.44-liter dust cup, which is on par with that of the Dyson V12 – not spacious at all. It has a release lever used to open the bottom door as well, but it doesn’t have the compacting feature (available in the CordZero Kormpressor version) to help the dustbin hold more dust and dist.
Tineco claims the A11 Master’s filtration system, including a pre-filter, and a HEPA filter, can trap 99.99% of the dirt and allergens. I love the included pre-filter rinsing attachment: Instead of washing the pre-filter by hand, I just put it in this tool, put the spare pre-filter into the vacuum, and then turned it on to suck out the dust. This filter should be washed at least once a week to retain good suction. The HEPA filter (the larger filter on the back of the vacuum) can be washed under running water and should be air-dried for at least 24 hours before reusing.
The A9 features a 5-Step Filtration System to keep up to 99.99% of dust particles from escaping through the exhaust. Sadly, it slightly leaked during my fog test, meaning it wasn’t completely sealed. The cyclone and filters are washable, so it’s a breeze to clean away all the dirt and keep the unit working in its best condition.

LED Headlights
Both the Tineco A11’s multi-floor motorized roller floorhead and the soft roller brush are equipped with LED headlights to make dust and dirt more visible, which is a game changer when vacuuming in poorly lit areas.
On/Off Control
The Tineco A11 has a trigger used to turn the vacuum on. But unlike most Dyson cord-free vacuums, it has a trigger lock feature, so I didn’t have to keep its trigger pressed during the vacuuming session.
Instead of a trigger to activate the vacuum, the LG Cord Zero A9 Ultimate has three buttons: one for power and two to increase/decrease power (“+” and “-” buttons). I could easily reach them with my thumb, which is very ergonomically comfortable.
Annoyingly, these machines have no LCD or LED screen to tell you which mode you’re in or the remaining battery life.
