Here is a detailed comparison of Tineco A11 Hero vs PwrHero 11. Which one is better? The short answer is the former.
If you are after a cordless vacuum with many features without costing an arm and a leg, the Tineco A11 Hero could be right for you. It comes with virtually every attachment you need for stick and handheld use. This model has excellent performance on carpets but doesn’t work very well on hard floors. Still, this isn’t bad, especially considering the price.
Regarding cleaning performance and design, the Tineco PwrHero 11 is similar to the Tineco A11 Hero. However, it has fewer attachments and accessories, which is why it’s cheaper. So if you’re on a tight budget and don’t mind the lack of some accessories, this model is your best bet.

Tineco A11 Hero vs PwrHero 11: Differences
With a final score of 3-0, the Tineco A11 Hero completely defeated PwrHero 11. The Tineco A11 Hero performs a bit better than its rival on carpets and comes with a richer set of accessories. In addition, it has a larger dust cup and is packed with two batteries that extend the maximum runtime to over an hour.
Cleaning Performance

Hard Floor
Both the Tineco A11 Hero vs PwrHero 11 have a multi-surface floorhead that features bristles for digging deep within the fibers. Although designed for multi-surface vacuuming, as its name suggests, this floorhead is ideal for cleaning carpets. Just about 55-60% of the debris was removed, and the majority of what was left was larger debris. They are far from being as good as the Tineco A11 Master with a soft roller.
Carpet
Fortunately, these machines shone brightly in my carpet tests. On my low-pile carpet, both could pick up almost all debris in the first pass, which put them on par with the Dyson V15 on this type of surface.
On my high pile carpet, the Tineco A11 Hero removed about 94% of the debris and dust particles, while the PowerHero 11 achieved a result of 89%. These aren’t amazing scores, but they aren’t bad, either.
So if you have a lot of carpet at home, you should go for one of these machines.
Hair
Both the Tineco A11 Hero vs PwrHero 11 did an excellent job of clearing away pet hair on hard floors and low- and high-pile carpets. But their rollers aren’t designed for anti-twist, so it took me a few minutes to untangle them at the end of the day. Fortunately, it is a breeze to pull out the roll by unlocking its brushroll cover with a coin.

Attachments And Storage
Regarding attachments and accessories, the Tineco A11 Hero completely outshines the PwrHero 11 in terms of quantity.
Tineco A11 Hero | Tineco A11 Pwrhero 11 |
---|---|
Charging Station. Multifloor motorized roller floorhead. 2-in-1 Dusting Brush. Hair Cleaning Tool. Crevice Tool. Mini Power Brush. Filter Cleaning Tool. Battery (X2). | Wall mount. Multifloor motorized roller floorhead. 2-in-1 Dusting Tool. Crevice Tool. Battery (X1). |
The A11 Hero’s charging station is called the “dual charging powerhouse,” which is used to charge both the batteries as well as store the vacuum and all of the attachments. It’s not the wall mount type, is a bit bulky, and can’t house all the included tools. As a result, I often put the two attachments I use the most—the crevice tool and the mini power brush—on the powerhouse and keep the others in the nearby cabinet.
The PwrHero 11, on the other hand, comes with a wall-mounted station with storage grooves for the crevice tool and the 2-in-1 dusting tool. I love this wall-storage type since it keeps the vacuum and attachments together and out of reach of my pets and little ones.
The Tineco A11 Master+ version also comes with a wall charger, like the PwrHero 11.
Weight And Maneuverability
The weights of the Tineco A11 Hero vs PwrHero 11 are 5 pounds and 5.47 pounds, respectively, so they are impressively portable vacuums. They are noticeably lighter than other cordless stick models, such as the Tineco Pure One S12 or the Tineco S11. Regardless of their use, these units can be used by elderly people and even children (under the supervision of adults).
Maneuvering these machines is quite easy, thanks to the rotating head, but they have a fairly limited range of rotation, which can prevent making sharp turns. Also, they can’t lay perfectly flat, but this isn’t a big deal.
Battery Life
The A11 Hero has two suction settings, while the PwrHero 11 features three vacuuming modes. The battery life of each one depends greatly on the setting used.
Tineco A11 Hero | Tineco Pwrhero 11 | |
---|---|---|
Maximum battery life. | ≈ 32.5 mins | ≈ 45.6 min |
Minimum battery life. | ≈ 7 mins | ≈ 11.9 min |
Charging time. | ≈ 3.5 hours | ≈ 4 hours |
In maximum suction mode, these machines all run out of batteries pretty quickly. Still, the Tineco A11 Hero is packed with two secondary batteries that are replaceable and can be charged simultaneously on the charging station. So its running time is up to 15 minutes in max suction mode and 60 minutes in normal mode.
The Tineco A11 Hero vs PwrHero 11 is packaged with only one battery, so buying an extra battery will make sense for those who live in large homes. Unlike most other conventional docking stations, its charging station has no built-in charging slot. Instead, the power adapter must be plugged into a port on the battery for recharging.
Dust Cup Capacity And Filters
Winner: Tineco A11 Hero
The Tineco PwrHero 11’s dust cup has a capacity of 0.5 liters, which is smaller than the Tineco A11 Hero’s dust tank (0.6 liters) but larger than some other models such as the Dyson V12 (0.38 liters) or Shark HV302 (0.4 liters).
To empty the Tineco A11 Hero vs PwrHero 11 dustbins, all you need to do is push a release button to open the gravity-operated door, and then all the content will fall straight into the trash bin underneath. Sometimes I have to use my hands to get rid of hair clumps and large debris that get stuck inside the cup due to the position of the pre-filter.
The Tineco A11 Hero has several filters, including pre-motor and HEPA (post-motor) filters. Both are washable and should be washed regularly. The pre-filter can be washed by putting it in a rinse-free cleaning tool, attaching it to the main body, turning on max suction mode, and waiting about a minute to suck out all the dust. HEPA filters ought to be cleaned with running water.
The PwrHero 11 also uses pre-motor and post-motor (HEPA) filters, but it doesn’t come with a pre-filter cleaning tool. So all filters should be manually washed and allowed to dry for at least 24 hours before being put back into the unit.
Tineco A11 Hero vs PwrHero 11: Similarities
Trigger Lock
The Tineco A11 Hero vs PwrHero 11 share a pistol-like trigger used to activate the vacuum. There is also a lever that can be pulled inward to press the trigger autonomously. Hence, you don’t have to hold down the trigger when vacuuming for an extended period.
Handheld Mode
Both the Tineco A11 Hero vs PwrHero 11 can be used in the handheld configuration by detaching the wand and floorhead. Conversions are done easily and quickly, and they only weigh around 3 pounds in this configuration. I usually use this mode to clean on each side of my stairs, cabinets, sofas, under beds, and other hard-to-reach places.
