Both Shark NV752 vs NV352 will easily take the load off your shoulders and help you clean your whole house with minimal effort. But if I had to choose between the two, I would lean towards the former.

The Shark NV752 is more expensive, but it’s worth it. I was amazed at how much dust and debris it picked up during testing, even though it struggled more with large debris. On top of that, it has some state-of-the-art features.

Both the NV352 are among the best entry-level models that can be found out there. It doesn’t need to be equipped with nifty features to get the job done well!

Shark NV752 vs NV352: Differences

The Shark NV752 wins 3-1 and draws one against the NV352. It has good or at least acceptable overall performance on all surfaces and can be used in four different configurations. It also comes with one of the best attachment kits on the market.

Cleaning Performance

Winner: NV752

Both the Shark NV752 vs NV352 are very efficient hard floor vacuums for most tasks. They can remove small debris, fine debris, and pet hair without hassle. Still, they can fail to pick up large pieces because of their limited height. So, to remove large debris, you can use the wand or the hard floor hero tool (if you go with the NV752).

The Shark NV752 works well on low-to-medium pile carpets and even thick carpets. But I don’t recommend it for long pile and shag carpets as it lacks height adjustment.

As for the NV352, it also has impressive performance on low-to-medium pile carpets but should not be used on a high pile or shag rug as its brush roller can destroy them. If you try to use it on a high pile or shag rug by turning on its brush roll, the strong suction may make it hard to move.

Maneuverability

Winner: NV352

Here, I will only mention Shark NV752 vs NV352 in an upright configuration. They are quite bulky, but not too heavy. They weigh 15.4 and 12.5 pounds, respectively, and I had no trouble carrying them from one place to another.

It is easy to maneuver these machines around furniture and obstacles thanks to the swivel steering, but they struggle much more to get under the interior because of their bulky size.

Usability

the nv352's dust cup can hold up to 1.1 quarts of dust and debris
The NV352’s dust cup can hold up to 1.1 quarts of dust and debris

Winner: Tie

The NV752 has a 30-foot power cord, which in my opinion, is sufficiently long. Meanwhile, the cord length of the NV352 is only 25 feet, which can be annoying for those who often clean large areas. So if you frequently have to switch outlets with this model during vacuuming, buying an extension cord is wise.

The dust cup of the NV752 has a capacity of 0.88 quarts, while the NV352’s dirt bin can hold up to 1.1 quarts of dust and debris before you need to empty it.

Empty these dust tanks is a breeze.

The NV752 has a longer power cord but a smaller dust cup compared to the NV352, so I call this a tie. All you need to do is push a button located at the bottom of the dust cup, and all the dirt and debris will fall straight into the trash bin below.

Utilities

Winner: Shark NV752

LED Lights

The Shark NV752 has LED lights on both the nozzle and handle

So whether you use it in its upright or semi-handheld configuration, the area you need to clean is always illuminated. Many users think this is a meaningless feature, but it will be very helpful when they need to clean dark spaces, such as corners or areas under their furniture.

Alternate Configuration

Both the Shark NV752 vs NV352, like many of their siblings, can be turned into a portable vacuum by detaching the pod from the floorhead. Whenever you want to clean bookshelves, stairs, or hard-to-reach areas, this feature will come into play.

The NV752, better yet, can be used as a stick vacuum, thank to “powered lift-away.” This feature keeps the floorhead working after removing the pod. I found it very useful for going under furniture, which many other bulky upright vacuums can’t do.

You can also place its pod on a caddy to use it as a canister vacuum. It can also be used as extra storage for included tools. Unfortunately, as of 2017, Shark has stopped packaging the caddy with the NV752, meaning you’ll need to purchase this part individually.

Fingertip Controls

there is a power button and slider on the handle of the nv752
There is a power button and slider on the handle of the NV752

The NV752’s handle has a built-in power button and slider that allows you to toggle between three settings: hard floor, low-pile carpet, and thick carpet. Thanks to that, you can turn on/off the vacuum or change the surface settings with the flick of a thumb.

The NV352, on the other hand, doesn’t have this feature. It has a switch on the body, and you will need to bend over to change the surface setting, which can be a big problem for people with back issues.

Tools and Attachments

the nv752 comes with the best accessories available today
The NV752 comes with the best accessories available today

Winner: Shark NV752

The NV352 only comes with two tools, including an upholstery tool and a crevice tool. Meanwhile, the NV752 comes with a bunch of accessories, which, in my opinion, are the best on the market.

Specifically, the NV752 comes packaged with an upholstery tool, a crevice tool, a motorized pet tool, and a hard floor hero tool. The suction-based hard floor tool has large gates for large debris, while the motorized pet tool far outshines any other suction-based tool.

Shark NV752 vs NV352: Similarities

Type

Both the Shark NV752 vs NV352 are corded upright vacuums by Shark, one of the big brands in the industry. Their bagless design means you won’t need to replace the dirtbag as you would with bagged models.

These machines have mostly plastic construction, but they don’t feel flimsy at all. They are also easy to assemble, and you don’t have to be an expert to get the job done.

I wouldn’t say they are quiet, but they aren’t too noisy to disturb those around. It is okay to use them early in the morning as long as you vacuum in a room enclosed by a fully or partially closed door.

Filter

The Shark NV752 vs NV352 share a combination of a HEPA filter and anti-allergen complete seal technology to capture up to 99.7% of dust and allergens in the air. So what comes out of these machines is nothing but fresh air. Their HEPA filters are washable, and you should wash them at least once a year to keep them in top condition.
