Shark NV750 vs NV752: There is not much difference between them. The most obvious difference is: the Shark NV750 I bought is refurbished, while the Shark NV752 is brand new.

Shark NV750 vs NV752: Difference

Shark NV752 wins 1-0 against the NV750. This is a thin distinction, and here is why:

Value for money

Winner: Shark NV752

As for Amazon purchases, the NV752 is brand new, while the NV750 is a refurbished item. Needless to say, the NV752 is considerably more expensive, and the question is, “Would you spend a little more to get the NV752?”

When I unboxed the Shark NV750, I couldn’t tell this was a refurbished product since t looked new except for a few scratches but nothing terrible. It came in the Shark Box, which was made especially for this vacuum, along with a long nozzle power head, an upholstery brush, and a user manual. The filters are new, and the vacuum didn’t appear to have been used at all.

But will it last as long as my brand-new NV752? It’s hard to say. Only time can tell. It is worth noting that many other users have complained about their purchases’ lack of parts and accessories. So if you only have to choose between the two, I would recommend spending a little more to get the brand new NV752 instead of the refurbished NV750. In addition to avoiding all risks, you also get a 5-year warranty from Shark. The refurbished one might die tomorrow. Who knows?

Shark NV750 vs NV752: Similarities

Cleaning Performance

The suction of these machines was very powerful, and they worked very well. They literally sucked so much hair and dirt from my carpet, and my hard floor looked clean after a single pass. It also did a great job picking up all the hair in my home. Anyone with dogs or cats should consider getting one of these vacuums, but remember to regularly clean their rollers as they have no self-cleaning brush rolls. My hands also got a little tired after the test was done, but it’s a trade-in for insanely strong suction.

Usability

Maneuverability

Both the Shark NV750 vs NV752 are on the heavy side, but that doesn’t mean maneuvering them is daunting and tedious. The advanced steering technology allows the motorized floorhead to rotate this way and that, making it feel like it is attached to the body by a swivel. I initially wondered if this feature would come in handy, and then I went to vacuum, and I realized how much I loved this, although it took me a while to get used to the swivel head.

Cord Length

The Shark NV750 vs NV752 share a 30-foot power cord that was long enough for me to clean an entire floor from a single outlet. The only thing that these units need is an auto cord rewind, and I had to bend over almost to the floor to wrap the cord properly. So it could be a minus for the elderly or those with a bad back or other health issues.

Special Features

Powered Lift-Away

Both the Shark NV750 vs NV752 can be used as a semi-handheld by detaching the canister and using the hose/wand with a separate tool to clean hard-to-reach places. Better yet, you could keep using the motorized head after removing the canister, which is a game changer when you need to vacuum under the interior. Everything is easily uncoupled and re-positioned with convenient buttons.

LED Lights

Lights on both the nozzle and handle

Who likes vacuuming in the dark? Well, sometimes you’ll have to deal with areas that your ceiling lights can’t reach, which is when LED headlights come into play. It was also helpful when I shoved the vacuum under my bed to suck up all the dust and dirt. Also, they have a light on the handle, which is a nice feature to have, especially when using the vacuum in a semi-handheld configuration.

Controls

I’m really glad to have the controls on the handle so that I can quickly switch between different surfaces. That said, I no longer have to bend over to press a switch on the body as I do with the Shark Navigator uprights.

Dust Cups And Filters

Their dust cups aren’t too big, but they make up for this by being so easy to empty. It is a breeze to lift the bin, and with one button, the bottom will swing open, and everything will fall right into the trash can.

Both the Shark NV750 vs NV752 share a filtration system with two pro-motor filters, a HEPA filter, and advanced sealing technology. With such a quality filtration system, I don’t think any dust or allergens can be released back into the air.
