In the Shark NV352 vs NV360 comparison, both vacuums are equally effective and pleasant to use. But in the end, the Shark NV352 had a bit better performance.
The Shark NV352 simply does a better job when it comes to cleaning performance. It is easy to see why we should choose this device given its increased suction, more lightweight design, and a larger number of cleaning tools included in the package.
Nevertheless, the Shark NV360 is also an excellent option. Similar to the Shark NV352, it will be adequate for most customers even though it is marginally less effective in removing dirt from hard-to-reach places.
Shark NV352 vs NV360: Comparision Chart
shark NV352 vs NV360: Differences
Shark NV352 defeats Shark NV360 by a score of 4-2 due to its superior cleaning performance, more lightweight design, and a larger number of cleaning tools. However, it might be louder than the Shark NV360.
Cleaning Performance
The Winner: Shark NV352
When I’m looking for a new vacuum cleaner, the cleaning performance is the factor that I prioritize the most. To find out which is the best Shark cleaner in terms of cleaning performance, I will look at some of the critical aspects contributing to their performance. These include the suction power, suction ability, and noise level.
Suction Strength
Despite the fact that both vacuums are powered by an efficient 1200W motor that provides great suction power, the cleaning performance of the two vacuums is rather distinct from one another. This is because the Shark NV352 has better utilization of the design. This also makes this vacuum’s suction stronger than the Shark NV360.
Even though these aren’t huge differences, they are enough to make a difference in cleaning, especially when it comes to getting deep-down dirt out of carpets. I tested how good they are at getting deep-down dirt in carpets out where suction power is important, and the NV352 did marginally better than the NV360. The same was true with the crevice pickup test, where the NV352 again did the best.
So, if you’re looking for the best way vac to get rid of debris that’s stuck deep in the carpet, the Shark NV352 is your best bet. The high suction and stiff bristles on the brush roll can also help the vacuum perform better in these conditions.
However, it is important to point out that the suction that is provided by the Shark NV360 is also pretty good. It provides the same level of suction as described by the manufacturer, which is still an excellent value considering the cost. If you want a vacuum for everyday use, this one should work perfectly.
Noise
For some people, noise is another crucial aspect when picking a new vacuum cleaner. Upright vacuum cleaners are usually noisier than, for example, robotic vacuums, so of course, we will compare them only in their own category.
The Shark NV352 is a product that is slightly noisier than the Shark NV360, producing around 80 dB of noise, whereas the Shark NV360 generates approximately 77.3 dB. Improved suction and stronger airflow are likely responsible for the NV352’s increased noise level.
This is just a small difference that most people won’t even notice. Actually, it’s hard for me to tell the difference without a special tool for measuring noise. Nevertheless, whether they are 77.3 or 80 dB, they are deemed loud to very loud. You probably shouldn’t use them to vacuum in the early morning when they’ll wake up your whole family.
Dust Bin And Filter
The Winner: Tie
Dust Bin Capacity
The capacity of their dustbins is different. The dust bin of the Shark NV360 measures 1.2 quarts, whereas that of the Shark NV352 measures 1.1 quarts. As you can see, the Shark NV360 only has a bigger capacity than the Shark NV352 by 0.1 quarts. Therefore, this difference is not too important.
Filter
The HEPA filters that include Anti-Allergen Complete Seal Technology are an essential component of the cleaning system that is integrated into these vacuums. Typically, you’ll find such features in upright vacuums that cost twice as much as those models, especially the application of the Complete Seal Technology.
With this invention, you won’t have to worry about breathing in harmful dust particles while cleaning. Using vacuums with this function has made cleaning a lot more pleasurable. Thankfully, the manufacturer included this feature in both vacuums.
Design And Convenience
The Winner: Tie
Dimensions
The vacuum design does not affect how effectively it cleans, but it can influence the areas that the vacuum can reach and the areas it cannot reach. It would be fantastic if you could distinguish between these two vacuums based on their respective colors.
The Shark NV352 and NV360 are completely identical in terms of their dimensions. Both of them have dimensions of 15 x 11.4 x 45.5 inches.
The only difference between the two here is their color. The NV352 is a lavender-colored vacuum, while the NV360 is blue in color.
Weight
Although both vacuums give the impression of being the same, the NV352 is slightly lighter. It comes in at 12.5 pounds, compared to 13 pounds for the NV360.
Most folks probably won’t think that a half-pound is significant. However, it might make a world of difference for old adults who have problems moving heavy things. The NV352 is the best choice if you want your vac to be as light as possible.
Accessories
The Winner: Shark NV352
The included attachments are one of the aspects that set Shark vacuums apart from its counterparts. You need to ensure that the model at the top of your wish list includes every tool and attachment you require, particularly if you have pets in your home. Let’s figure out what tools these two vacuums have.
The Shark NV352 comes with a significantly larger number of cleaning attachments, some of which are listed below.
- Short crevice tool
- Wide upholstery tool
- Dusting brush
- Long 24 inches crevice tool
As you can see, the Shark NV352 offers a lot of versatility in terms of the methods of cleaning. I did not have any difficulties cleaning any surface, corner, or dirt.
The Shark NV360 comes with fewer attachments which are:
- Crevice tool
- Upholstery tool
The upholstery tool that comes with the Shark NV360 isn’t as wide as the one that comes with Shark NV352, although it still does the job well. The longer upholstery tool of the NV352 helps me a lot when cleaning under the furniture.
Shark Nv352 vs Nv360: Similarities
HEPA Filtration
One of the most useful features to me is that they all have a sealed system with a HEPA filter, also known as the complete seal anti-allergen system. To put it simply, it prevents leaking dirt into the air.
And this feature is very uncommon in vacuums in this price range. And as the years have gone by, I’ve come to the conclusion that this feature is essential, regardless of whether or not the user suffers from allergies.
Lift-Away
The Lift-Away Technology is another feature that should be mentioned. Even though they are designed as upright vacuum cleaners, you can turn them into canisters to reach places like the ceiling and stairs. Either way, changing it isn’t extremely difficult.
Swivel Steering
Their brush heads come equipped with swivel steering, making it simple to maneuver around furniture and other objects. When we tested each unit, the NV360 turned a little better than the NV352. The range seemed about the same, but the motion on the first one felt better.
Cord length
If you have a big house, you might want to check the cord’s length before buying a new vacuum cleaner. This is why we considered it when comparing the two vacuums. But there isn’t much to say because both vacuums have the same exact 25-foot cord length.
This length should be long enough for most people, even if they have a big house. You only need to worry about keeping the cord from getting tangled up in the furniture.
