This machine worked well on my rugs, carpets, and even hardwood floors. The DuoClean cleaner head on both machines gently yet effectively cleaned floors thanks to a soft roller, while the PowerFins brush roll got into the carpet fibers with rubber fins and picked up deep-seated dirt.
The brush roll almost didn’t get stuck with hair, except for a small amount of the longer one, so the “self-cleaning” description is honest. This makes the Shark AZ2000w vs AZ2002 ideal choices for pet owners since they won’t be killed by tangled hair like many other models. Of course, I still needed to untangle it periodically by using tweezers, but it was so easy and quick. Hair wound around their small rubber wheel axles, and I hope the Shark’s future models will have an easier way to clean their wheels.

It might not be a big deal for average people, but it can be a good reason for weak users to look for other models.
