Samsung Jet 90 vs LG Cordzero – I’ve compared the Samsung Jet 90 with the LG CordZero Kompressor All-in-One, a seemingly “most comprehensive” version of the LG Cordzero. There, the Cordzero Kompressor triumphed over the Jet 90 thanks to some cutting-edge technologies. Today, I will compare the Jet 90 and LG Cordzero Ultimate to see if LG can beat Samsung once again.
Well, the overall winner today is the Samsung Jet 90 because the LG Cordzero Ultimate doesn’t have as many bells and whistles as its Cordzero Kompressor sibling. But it still performs very well and is a formidable competitor to many other high-end stick vacuums out there. Let’s scroll down for more information!
Samsung Jet 90 vs LG Cordzero Ultimate: Comparison Chart
Samsung Jet 90 vs LG Cordzero Ultimate: Differences
The Samsung Jet 90 knocked out the LG CordZero (wins 2-1 and ties once). The winner performs better on all terrains, has a larger dust cup, and emptying it is simpler thanks to a Clean Station. In addition, it has an LED screen that tells you which cleaning mode the machine is in.
Cleaning Performance
Winner: Tie
Suction Power And Floorhead
Let’s start with the most important factor, but not the only one, that affects how well a vacuum cleaner works – The suction power. At its highest power setting, the Samsung Jet 90 produces tremendous suction power at 200 AW, which is on par with the LG CordZero Kompressor and slightly lower than the Dyson V15. The LG CordZero, on the other hand, is far behind with 140 AW, similar to the Dyson V10.
Both the Samsung Jet 90 vs LG Cordzero Ultimate come out of the box with two nozzles: a soft roller and a standard brush roll – one is specially designed for hard floors, and the other works on any surface but is best for carpets.

Hard Floor
Both the Samsung Jet 90 vs LG Cordzero Ultimate could pick up all the debris, including small-to-large debris and fine dust, on my hard floors. This result is excellent, and it was also achieved by other models with soft rollers, such as the Dyson V15.
If asked about what needs improvement, I’d say the lack of headlights. These machines are not equipped with any type of headlight, such as LED headlights on the Tineco A11 Master’s nozzle or a laser light on the Dyson V12’s Slim Fluffy head. This leads to inconvenience when vacuuming in dark areas, which shouldn’t be in products coming from behemoths in the tech industry.
Carpet
On my carpet, the LG A9 passed the test with flying colors – around 98% of the total debris was removed. I consider this a great result for a stick vacuum.
The Samsung Jet 90’s insanely strong suction can be a problem on carpets. At the highest power setting, it was so strong that it lifted the thin carpet, and its floorhead sucked down on the thick carpet—whatever it was, the vacuum struggled with larger debris. Then I reduced the setting to “mid,” and everything was fine. For machines with such great attraction, trial and error are always essential.
Hair Removal
There’s nothing to complain about the hair removal ability of the Samsung Jet 90 vs LG Cordzero Ultimate except that there was a fair amount of hair wrapped around their rollers. Removing and untangling them is easy, but if you don’t want to waste time on this work, consider models with anti-twist systems, such as the Dyson V12.
And for hair removal, I highly recommend using the mini motorized tool (Jet 90) or the power punch nozzle (CordZero Ultimate) – There’s almost no hair wrap issue, but it will take you more time to clean up the same area since they are essentially floorheads but smaller.

Attachments And Storage
Samsung Jet 90 | LG CordZero Ultimate |

My favorite feature of the LG CordZero Ultimate is its dock with a self-standing ability. In fact, it can be used in one of three configurations: a wall-mounted dock, a compact floor base, or a self-standing charging station.
The LG CordZero’s stand can store the vacuum and three attachments and give two batteries a charge simultaneously. This model comes with four tools, so one of them is left – this is my only gripe. The CordZero Kompressor variant I tested includes an All-in-One (AIO) tower, which is the smartest Clean-Charging station I’ve ever tested.
Likewise, the Samsung Jet 90 also comes with a self-standing charging station, which is called the Z station. It also has a spot for the spare battery, which means it can charge two batteries simultaneously and store the vacuum as well as some (but not all) accessories. This is one of the improvements over its predecessor, the Samsung Jet 75.
One thing that the Samsung Jet 90 vs LG Cordzero Ultimate have in common is the telescopic wand, which allows users to increase the length of the vacuum to reach higher or collapse it to fit short people or for more compact storage.
Weight And Maneuverability
Both the Samsung Jet 90 vs LG Cordzero Ultimate are lightweight machines, weighing 6.2 pounds and 5.7 pounds, respectively. Some people have complained about how they cause hand fatigue after a while, but it’s a widespread issue for most stick vacuums. The motor and dust cup assembly are on top of the machine – putting most of the weight in the user’s hands. Anyway, I didn’t feel any discomfort, maybe because I’m a strong guy.
They could easily go further under most of my furniture since they could lie flat on the floor, and the swivel head made changing directions as easy as pie for me. They can also be converted into handheld vacuums. And with the proper tool mounted, I could easily complete any cleaning task without breaking a sweat.
Battery Life And Charging
Cordless vacuums are not limited by a power cord – They are battery-powered, meaning they will become useless once they run out of juice. How quickly the battery drains depends mainly on the setting used:
Samsung Jet 90 | LG CordZero Ultimate | |
---|---|---|
Battery Life | Min mode: ≈ 45 mins | Normal mode: ≈ 41 mins |
Mid mode: ≈20 mins | Power mode: ≈ 19 mins | |
Max mode: ≈10 mins | Turbo mode: ≈ 6 mins | |
Charging Time | ≈ 215 minutes | ≈ 3.5 hours |
Most models run out of battery very quickly with the highest setting enabled, and unfortunately, that is the setting many users, including me, use most of the time. So without the second battery, you’ll have to wait a long time before picking up where you left off.
So instead of idly wasting time waiting, it is wise to spend a few extra bucks on an additional battery. Both Samsung Jet 90’s and LG CordZero’s batteries can be purchased easily online. And as mentioned above, the charging station of both can give two batteries a charge simultaneously.
Dust Cup And Filter System
Winner: Samsung Jet 90
The A9 Ultimate’s dust cup has a capacity of 0.399 liters, which isn’t very spacious at all. It has no compacting feature like the CordZero Kompressor, so it must be emptied more often than its sibling. Emptying it was pretty easy: all I had to do was press the release lever to open a trap door underneath. I wish it had the mechanism to push dirt downward like the “point and shoot” mechanism of the Dyson cordless vacuums.
The Jet 90’s dustbin is larger and can hold up to 0.8 liters of dust and dirt – this results in fewer trips to the trash can to empty the dustbin. But it would be perfect if emptying its cup was simpler. Thank goodness! The clean station ($199) made this dream come true.
It’s basically the same smart cleaning station I saw when unboxing the Samsung Bespoke Jet, and even more convenient – I just put the dust cup on top of this tower without pressing any buttons. Everything ran smoothly, like a breeze, and was fully automatic. No dust clouds were created, and no allergens had a chance to spread! Everything was sucked out and sent to a single-use dirt bag. It would need to be replaced when full, usually after three to four of my full cleaning cycles. It is definitely a must-have add-on for folks with severe allergies.
LG claims the CordZero Ultimate vacuum features a 5-step filtration system to trap 99.99% of dust particles. It includes cyclones, a primary filter, and a post-motor HEPA filter. They can be easily removed and washed to reduce maintenance costs and keep the machine running smoothly for a long time.
The Jet 90 also sports a multi-layer filtration system, which includes washable cyclone and micro-filters and a HEPA filter – you should remove any debris and dust from it instead of washing it with water.
Utilities
Winner: Samsung Jet 90
The Samsung Jet 90 has a simple LED screen, which shows the current power mode and some alerts but doesn’t tell you how much battery is left. Keeping things simple is good, but being full of information comes first! Hopefully, future Samsung vacuums will have time remaining estimates in minutes or percentages, whatever.
The LG CordZero Ultimate has no screen at all. It just shows the remaining battery life without indicating which mode you are in. The CordZero Kompressor version is better with connectivity to the LG ThinQ app, which shows your usage of the vacuum (over days/months/years) and sends alerts about battery and filter changes and Smart Diagnosis.
Both are operated by pressing physical buttons: the biggest one is to turn the vacuum on/off, and the other two are to switch between cleaning modes. No trigger – no more wrist/hand fatigue!
