Samsung Jet 75 Vs Bespoke: Which One Worth the Money?

Samsung Jet 75 vs Bespoke: This is a battle between two best-selling stick vacuums from a big name in the electronics industry. And you don’t have to be an expert to determine that the second one is superior.

The Samsung Bespoke Jet is stylish and powerful and delivers a deep clean that many other vacuums out there can’t do. It also gets big bonus points for the secondary battery and a super convenient cleaning station that hygienically and easily empties the dust cup and keeps everything neat and tidy. The biggest obstacle to it is its exorbitant price – That’s a lot of money to spend on a stick vacuum.

Also coming from the same brand, the Samsung Jet 75 is a great balance of features and price. Its performance is still great, and its dust cup can still be emptied hygienically, thanks to a smart Clean Station, but it lacks many punches from the brand. And, of course, its price is significantly lower than the winner’s.

Samsung Jet 75 Vs Bespoke: Differences

The Bespoke Jet wins the Jet 75 (3-1) mainly because of the bells and whistles. The most attractive part of the Bespoke Jet is its smart charging station, which combines a self-standing charger and a clean station. It also comes with two interchangeable batteries, so you won’t have to worry about the vacuum running out of battery in the middle of the vacuuming cycle.

Cleaning Performance

Winner: Samsung Jet 75

Suction Power And Cleaning Head

The Bespoke Jet peaks at 210 AW, slightly greater than the 200-AW maximum suction of the Jet 75. They are generally among the most powerful machines I’ve tested, with the Dyson V15 at the top with 230 AW.

Another important factor affecting the cleaning performance is the included cleaning head. The Jet 75 comes out of the box with two separate cleaning heads: a turbo action and a soft roller, whereas the Samsung Bespoke Jet comes with a dual roller head, which is a combination of a soft roller and a regular roller brush.

Bespoke Jet’s dual roller head looks like the DuoClean head of the Shark Stratos or Shark Vertex Pro at first glance, but it turns out this isn’t. Bespoke Jet’s soft roller isn’t motorized, meaning it doesn’t spin itself.

Hard Floor

The Samsung Bespoke Jet had a decent performance on this type of surface, with about 87% of the debris actually picked up. The reason it didn’t work well is probably that the soft roller doesn’t actively spin itself, as mentioned above.

The Jet 75 has performed better thanks to its dedicated soft roller, which helps it pick up everything I throw at it. And the good news is that you can also equip a soft roller like this for the Samsung Bespoke Jet to make it work better.

Carpet

At the highest setting, these models generated such strong suction that they lifted my low-pile carpet close to the floorhead or sucked down the high-pile carpet, stopping the roller. I consider this a testament to their strength, not a con. Then I set both to medium mode, and they worked great right away.

The Jet 75 removed 98% to 99% of total debris, with the only limitation being large debris like fruit loops. Likewise, the Samsung Bespoke Jet has also achieved similar results, and it is difficult to detect the remnants with the naked eye.

Hair

Our hair tests showed both the Samsung Jet 75 vs Bespoke could remove 100% of the hair and fur from hard floors and carpets, and there was a moderate amount of long hair that tangled around their rollers. Thankfully, removing the tangled hair was a breeze.

The Samsung Jet 75 includes a wall charger, like the one I saw when unboxing the Dyson V12. This stand is nice and doesn’t look bad at all, but I never advocated drilling into walls, not to mention that it can’t charge two batteries at once. Maybe the Samsung engineers sympathized with people like me, so they packed the successor version, the Samsung Jet 90, with a self-standing charging station with a slot for the second battery.

The Samsung Bespoke Jet, on the other hand, is better with a smart charging station and an accessory cradle, but I wish it had built-in storage like the All-In-One base of the LG CordZero vacuum, which holds attachments in doors that swing out right beside the vacuum.

The cleaning station is a bit bulky, but it can charge and empty the dust cup simultaneously, which is something no other brand but Samsung can do. The accessory cradle is also a bonus since it has a slot to charge the second battery. It is easy to move the cradle around as it has a built-in handle, but it is another thing that will take up space on your floor.

Weight And Maneuverability

The Jet 75 is slightly heavier than the Bespoke Jet (5.78 pounds and 5.7 pounds), and even my child could use these machines without worrying about weight. It is a breeze for them to go further under the furniture and change direction thanks to the swivel head, but it would be better if they were equipped with LED headlights.

And like other handsticks, the Samsung Jet 75 vs Bespoke can be converted into handheld vacuums that make it easier to dust shelves and get into nooks and crannies with attachments.

Battery Life

To see how long these vacuums can run in real-time, I had them fully charged and ran them through each vacuuming setting until they ran out of juice, and here are the results.

Samsung Jet 75 Samsung Bespoke Jet
Battery LifeMin mode: ≈ 42 minsLow mode: ≈ 45 mins
Mid mode: ≈ 24 minsMed mode: ≈ 26 mins
High mode: ≈ 15 mins
Jet mode: ≈ 10 minsJet mode: ≈ 8 mins
Charging Time≈ 215 mins≈ 3 hours

Note that the above results were measured with the main floorhead attached to the vacuum. Using non-motorized tools, including crevice and combination tools, can make the vacuum run longer.

As for the Bespoke Jet, I really didn’t need to pay attention to its battery life since it was packed with two interchangeable batteries. There are two slots for charging two batteries simultaneously: one on the charging station and one on the accessory cradle – So you start your daily cleaning with two fully charged batteries.

If you choose the Samsung Jet 75, you’ll only get a single battery, but it’s easy to double or even triple the running time by purchasing additional batteries. Its charging rack doesn’t have room for a second battery, so you’ll need to wait longer to have two fully charged batteries.

Dust Cup

Winner: Samsung Bespoke Jet

The dust cup of the Bespoke Jet is not very large – it can only hold up to half a liter of dust and dirt. But the most fun part is emptying it.

In addition to automatically charging the vacuum, the clean station of the Bespoke Jet can empty the dust cup, so you won’t have to get your hands dirty. The process is semi-automatic, and the only thing you need to do is press a button on the station. Thanks to this great invention, I didn’t have to watch the dust go everywhere during the emptying process. The price to pay for this convenience is the recurring cost of replacing the disposable bag and the filter.

bespoke jet's filter and disposable bag
bespoke jet’s filter and disposable bag

The Samsung Jet 75 features a 0.8 dust cup, which means it needs to be emptied less frequently than the Bespoke Jet’s cup. You have two options to empty it: do it manually or use a clean station. Emptying it manually is quite awkward, as it doesn’t have the bottom lid that is opened with the push of a button like most other models, such as the Tineco Pure ONE S11 or a point-and-shoot mechanism like the Dyson cord-free vacuums. You must remove it from the handheld unit, remove the cyclone assembly, and turn it upside down to empty it. This process can lead to a dust cloud, and I bet people with severe allergies will loathe this.

The easier and more hygienic option is to use a clean station, which needs to be purchased separately. It doesn’t even require pressing a button to empty the dust cup like the Bespoke Jet’s clean station. It also uses a disposable bag that needs to be replaced when it gets full.

Utilities

Winner: Samsung Bespoke Jet

Display Screen And On/Off Control

There is an LED screen on the top of the Jet 75’s handle that shows the current power mode and alerts you if there are roller problems or if the filter is missing. However, it doesn’t tell the user how much battery life is left.

The Bespoke Jet’s LED is more convenient since it indicates what cleaning mode you’re on and how much running time is left for each. Also, it alerts you to maintenance duties.

I’m glad these machines use physical buttons to turn them on/off and switch between modes. And I could easily reach them with my thumb during vacuuming. That way, they solved a dilemma with most of the Dyson cordless vacuums – hand fatigue caused by holding down the trigger after a while.

Noise

For noise tests, we ran each vacuum on each setting and measured their noise levels with a noise meter, and here are the results:

Samsung Bespoke JetSamsung Jet 75
Low mode: ≈ 53.7 dBMin mode:  ≈ 62.3 dB
Med mode: ≈ 56.9 dBMid mode: ≈ 67.4 BA
High mode: ≈ 60.5 dB
Jet mode: ≈ 62.9 dBJet mode: ≈ 72.5 dB

As you can see, the Samsung Bespoke Jet is noticeably quieter, but overall, neither is loud. Their noise levels are only comparable to those of showers.
