Samsung Jet 75 Turbo Vs Jet 75 Complete: Do They Have Any Differences?

I get commissions for purchases made through links in this post. Read more

The differences between Samsung Jet 75 Turbo vs Complete include the market, color, and attachments. In general, I chose the Jet 75 Complete as the winner owing to the included clean station in the box and the extra battery.

Other particular differences are as follows: the Samsung Jet 75 Turbo is mainly sold in the EU, specifically France and Germany, while the Jet 75 Complete is distributed in both EU and US markets; the Jet 75 Complete has the color of titan chrometal while the Jet 75 Turbo is purple; and the Jet 75 Turbo has the Flex Tool which is not in the box of Jet 75 Complete.

Besides that, the cleaning performances of Samsung Jet 75 Complete and Jet 75 Turbo are comparable. They have the same suction power of 200 AW and feature turbo brush cleaner heads. This cleaner head allows them to work decently on either carpets or bare floors. Yet, they are less effective in quick large-debris picking up and edge cleaning. They all have excellent HEPA filtration systems with 5 filtering layers. In short, they are a good vacuum for basic daily cleaning.

Samsung Jet 75 Turbo vs Complete: Differences

In general, the Jet 75 Turbo and Jet 75 Complete (I bought the latest 2022 version) are nearly identical. The difference is not too significant. They have different distribution markets, colors, sets of attachments, and power modes.

Specifically, the Jet 75 Complete’s markets include the EU and US, while that of the Jet 75 Turbo is mainly EU. The colors of Jet 75 Complete and Turbo are chrometal titan and violet (purple), respectively.

For the power modes and attachments, I will add a few more details in the following sections: Attachments and Cleaning Performance because such differences contribute to the final result that the Jet 75 Complete wins 1-0 against the Jet 75 Turbo.

Attachments

Winner: Samsung Jet 75 Complete

The reason why I decided the Jet 75 Complete winner of this round is owing to the extra battery and clean station included in the package. This means I do not have to look for a compatible station and battery, which saves time and even expense if this bundle is on sale.

On the other hand, the Jet 75 Turbo has the Flex Tool, an attachment useful for versatile cleaning of hard-to-reach above-floor surfaces, which is not in the box of Jet 75 Complete.

I listed the attachments included in the box of each vacuum in the following table for reference.

Though the battery and clean station can be purchased separately, the prices would be a great concern. Besides, when using the clean station, you need to accept the recurring cost of buying replacement dust bags periodically.

What I really enjoy about the clean station is the idea of an easy and hygienic approach to emptying the dust cups without having to deal with dust clouds. The dust content is discharged into the dust bags with the simple press of a button. Their clean stations also incorporate HEPA filtration, which efficiently captures small dust and odor.

However, one thing I don’t really like about the attachment set of these vacuums is that both of them do not include the soft brush cleaner head for effective bare-floor cleaning. This means I need to pay more to get one, especially when my house has a majority of hardwood/bare floors.

If you do not interest in the clean station but want to get a complete cleaning accessory set of combination tool, turbo + soft brush cleaner heads, crevice tool, mini motorized tool, and flex tool, you can check out the regular Jet 75 model (version 2020).

Suction

In this category, the most notable difference is the number of their suction modes. Both Jet 75 Complete and Turbo have 3 standard modes of Max, Mid, and Min, but the Jet 75 Complete has added the Jet mode that features on the higher-end Bespoke Jet.

The Jet mode is the highest suction level, which can be stronger than the Max mode, but the drawback is that it drains the battery very quickly. Thus, I often use the Jet mode when cleaning small carpets or my pet beds. In my experience, using the Jet mode in combination with the mini motorized tool can get rid of pet hairs on upholstery furniture effectively.

As the Jet 75 Complete and Jet 75 Turbo have different numbers of power modes, I’ve estimated the runtime in each mode and put them in the following table for reference. The measurements are carried out with their floor heads, thus it can be somewhat different from the stated numbers by the brand.

Floor-type compatibility

In terms of cleaning performance on carpets and bare floors, the Jet 75 Turbo and 75 Complete are equivalent because they have the same max suction power and the same turbo brush cleaner heads. This cleaner head can easily transition between carpets and bare floors, but for me, it is best for carpet cleaning.

In particular, they do a pretty good job of picking up small and fine debris like sand, rice, and seasoning particles on bare floors. However, they struggle to collect large things like piles of cereals or dog kibbles. The turbo brush head pushes large tested objects and spits them back after the vacuum is turned off.

Meanwhile, the turbo brush head allows the Jet 75 Turbo and Complete to clean up almost everything on carpets. I used them to pick up powder and cereals on both low and high carpets, and the results were amazing. They collect all stuff without difficulty, just in one pass forward and one pass backward. The remaining particles on the carpets are insignificant, and I only need to run one or two more passes over to get them well cleaned.

When changing the floor head of these two vacuums to the soft brush (which I bought separately), the cleaning performance on bare floors is improved. Larger debris is picked up more easily without being spitted back, not to mention the small and fine debris. However, the brush roll is too soft to work on carpets as it does not give enough surface agitation. Therefore, the soft brush floorhead is best for hardwood/bare floors.

Pet hair

The Samsung Jet 75 Turbo and Complete deal with pet hairs pretty well. They collect long hairs just in one pass but need extra passes to remove the shorter strands of hair. Besides, their brush roll is not the self-cleaning type, so the hair-wrap problem does happen. Therefore, you need to clip the tangled hair from the roller to avoid clogging and ensure the vacuuming efficiency.

Samsung Jet 75 Turbo vs Complete: Similarities

The similarities between Jet 75 Turbo and Complete are in their design, dust cup, and filtration system.

Design & Convenience

They each weigh roughly 6.2 pounds and have the same design and position of power control buttons. They are simple to navigate between different floor kinds since they are lightweight and feature great swiveling heads.

They both feature the same LED display that shows the selected power modes and alerts. I believe the display is important for letting you know what happened to your vacuums so that you can undertake necessary maintenance in order to maintain long-term efficiency.

Their noise levels are also relatively the same, which I estimated about 51-65 dB, with the Jet mode producing a bit louder noise of around 65 dB. This noise level range is normal and similar to the sound of a dishwasher.

Dust bin & Filtration

The Samsung Jet 75 Turbo and Jet 75 Complete both offer a 0.8-liter dust cup capacity and an innovative 5-layer HEPA filtration technology. This dust cup size is adequate for my daily cleaning, and the filtration captures small dust while filtering odors.  It is claimed that the Jet 75 series’ 5-layer filtration can filter up to 99.99% of microdust and allergens.

Their dust cups are also removable and can be fully cleaned with dishwasher soap or simply plain water. To avoid harming the vacuum motors, make sure the dust cup pieces are totally dry (typically 24 hours after cleaning) before assembly.
