Samsung Jet 75 Multi Vs Pet: Differences

The only difference between the Samsung Jet 75 Multi vs Pet is the included accessories. The Jet 75 Multi doesn’t include a turbo action brush roller, while the Jet 75 Pet lacks a soft action brush, a flexible tool, and a combination tool.

The Samsung Jet 75 Multi doesn’t include a turbo action brush, while the Jet 75 Pet lacks a soft action brush, a combination tool, and a flexible tool. Most attachments are sold separately by Samsung, so you can easily add to your collection the accessories you need.

  • Turbo action brush: The Turbo Action Brush, or the multi-surface cleaning head, is the standard cleaning accessory. As its name suggests, this key attachment is the most versatile and can be used on all surfaces, but it is best for deep cleaning carpets. In fact, with this floorhead attached, the Jet 75 could remove between 97-98% of debris from my carpets.
  • Soft action brush: This attachment is ideal for cleaning hard surfaces, such as hardwood and tile floors. It includes a soft roller, and my test showed it helped the Jet 75 pick up almost all the debris on my hard floor. However, it was almost useless on my carpets.
  • Combination tool: It combines a dusting brush and an upholstery tool, which I typically use to dust some delicate surfaces like curtains or sofas.
  • Flexible tool: This attachment can bend into many different angles, making cleaning hard-to-reach places, such as the bookshelf and under the furniture, easier.

Samsung Jet 75 Multi Vs Pet: Similarities

Dust Cup And Filtration System

Weight And Maneuverability

The Jet 75 brings 5.78 pounds to scale. And with the swiveling head, the machine doesn’t feel heavy or hard to turn at all. It can lie completely flat on the ground, making getting under low furniture a breeze.

The handheld configuration is great, and with proper attachments, I could do all the cleaning jobs. I guess many people still don’t know that it’s possible to attach the main cleaning head, the Turbo Action Brush or Soft Brush, directly to the handheld unit without the wand. I usually use this for cleaning stairs, and it works very well.

If there’s room for improvement, I wish the large brushes were equipped with LED lighting, which makes dust and dirt more visible.

Battery Life

To test the battery life of the Jet 75, I gave the battery a full charge and then ran the vacuum continuously until it ran out of juice. I repeated this process for each cleaning mode: min, mid, and jet. And all of my tests were conducted with the main floorhead attached.

Mid mode: ≈ 24 mins
Jet mode: ≈ 10 mins
Charge Time≈ 215 mins

This machine uses a detachable battery, so you can double the run time by buying an extra battery. Its wall-mounted charger can’t charge two batteries simultaneously like the Samsung Jet 90‘s self-standing charging station. So you will need to charge the batteries alternately.

Dust Cup And Filtration System

The Samsung Jet 75 features a 0.8-liter dust cup, which is quite large for a cordless vacuum, but emptying it manually is a bit cumbersome. Most stick vacuums have a trap door that is opened with the push of a button, but the Samsung Jet 75 doesn’t. To empty its dust canister, you’ll need to remove the cup from the vacuum first, then twist the microfilter and cyclone filter assembly to remove it.

The good news is that this process can be easier with the Clean Station base,  a slim tower that sucks all the contents directly from the vacuum’s duct cup into a  disposable bag. That way, it will remove the cumbersome steps that give dust a chance to spread around when emptying the dust cup.

Using it is very simple – Detach the dust cup from the vacuum, place it into the Cleaning Station’s hole, and it will automatically suck out the contents.

Regarding the filtration system, the Jet 75 features a 5-level filtration system, which Samsung advertises as trapping up to 99.99% of microdust. This is a selling point for allergy sufferers and those with respiratory problems.

Utilities

Display Screen And On/Off Control

Turning the vacuums on/off or switching between cleaning modes is very simple by pushing some buttons on the unit’s handle. I’m glad that I don’t have to hold the trigger continuously to keep the vacuum running, which saves battery but can cause hand/wrist fatigue.

It has a simple screen on the handle that clearly shows which vacuuming mode you are in and alerts you when there is any clogging in the unit, the roller is stuck, or there is a lack of a filter. I love the simplicity, but it should show how much running time remains.

Noise

Cleaning ModeNoise Level
Min 62.5 dB
Mid 67.2 dB
Jet 72.4 dB

It’s not quiet. Still, its noise level is generally less than that of many other cordless stick vacuums I’ve tested, such as the Dyson stick vacuums.
