Though Jet 70 Pet and Jet 75 are two different models, there are many things they have in common, for example, the design and appearance, the filtration, and the dust cup capacity. If I have to choose a winner between Samsung Jet 70 vs 75, I will pick the Jet 75 series.
For me, the Samsung Jet 75 has a better cleaning performance, especially on bare floors. This can be attributed to the included soft brush cleaner head and the strong suction with 3 power modes. Moreover, the Jet 75 has longer battery life, a maximum of 60 minutes, allowing you to tackle more corners in the house.
On the other hand, the Samsung Jet 70 Pet has a shorter battery life (~ 40 minutes max). Besides, it does not include the soft brush cleaner head in the box, but this head can be purchased separately. Additionally, the suction power of the Jet 70 Pet is a bit lower than the Jet 75, yet the cleaning performance is still comparable.

Samsung Jet 70 vs 75: Differences
Based on my experience, the Samsung Jet 75 wins 2-0 against the Jet 70 in terms of cleaning performance and battery life. Meanwhile, regarding the filtration, dust cup, and utility, they tie.
Cleaning performance
Winner: Samsung Jet 75
Based on the specifications, the Jet 75 has stronger suction power than the Jet 70. When using them, I didn’t notice much difference in the suction power. Overall, their suction is strong enough to pick up large and fine debris, dander, pet hair, and other stuff with non-sharp edges.
In addition, both Samsung Jet 70 and Jet 75 con work well on bare floors and carpets. However, the Jet 75 is relatively better in pick-up performance on bare floors owing to the included soft action cleaner head. The Jet 70 only includes the standard turbo brush cleaner head, but the compatible soft brush cleaner head can be purchased separately.
The soft roller can help the vacuum suck in different types and sizes of debris on the bare floor. The large fruit loops, fine seasoning particles, and pet hairs can be picked up pretty well without scattering.
On carpeted floors, both of them did efficiently on low-pile carpets, but on high-pile carpets, the pick-up performance was not satisfactory, and they were relatively difficult to push. I still noticed fine debris in the carpet. Thus, I would say that Samsung Jet 70 and Jet 75 are not optimal options for deep carpet cleaning.
Design & Convenience
Winner: Samsung Jet 75
The Samsung Jet 75 and Jet 70 are similar in appearance and design. Their weight is relatively equal to each other and is around 6 lbs. In my experience, the weight is not evenly distributed, which is allocated much in the front. In other words, I feel that the Samsung Jet 75 and Jet 70 are quite front-heavy. So, it may put more stress on the wrists, especially when the vacuum is used as a handheld vacuum.
The noticeable difference that makes the Jet 75 the winner of this round is the battery life. In fact, the Samsung Jet 75 can work up to 60 minutes when fully charged, while the max runtime of the Jet 70 is just 40 minutes. Their minimum runtime is quite the same, about 5 minutes in the max power mode. They also have an average charging time of 3.5 hours, which I consider relatively quicker than many vacuums in the same price range.
The following table shows the estimated runtime in each mode and the charging time of Jet 75 and Jet 70, for reference.
Samsung Jet 70 | Samsung Jet 75 | |
---|---|---|
Runtime | Min: ~ 40 mins Mid: ~ 20 mins Max: ~ 5 mins | Min: ~ 60 mins Mid: ~ 22 mins Max: ~ 10 mins |
Charging time | 3.5 hours | 3.5 hours |
Dust bin & Filtration
Tie!
It is a tie in this round because the Samsung Jet 70 Pet and Jet 75 have the same dust cup capacity with similar filtration type and construction and are compatible with the clean station.
Specifically, the dust cup capacity of Jet 70 and 75 is 0.8 liters, and their filtration systems are sealed 5-layer HEPA filtration with the ability to filter up to 99.99% of micro dust and allergen. Additionally, it is possible to detach all the parts of their dust cups to wash and wipe. You should wait for all parts to dry completely before assembling to avoid odor and damaging the vacuum motors.
Additionally, all Samsung Jet 75 and Jet 70 variants are compatible with the clean station, which offers a more convenient and hygienic way to empty the dust cups. I personally pleased with the clean station because the dust-cloud problem is addressed effectively. I just need to push a button to get all dust in the cup released into the dust bags.
The clean station also features HEPA filtration, so the fine dust and odor are captured effectively. However, there is still a significant downside when using the clean station that you need to consider carefully before purchasing: the extra expense for replacement dust bags periodically.
The clean station is sold separately or included in the package, depending on the variants. The Jet 75 Complete has included the clean station in the package, so you don’t have to buy it separately. For other variants, the clean station is sold separately. If you want to get one, you can buy it here:

Utility
Tie!
LED display
Both Samsung Jet 75 and Jet 70 feature LED displays showing the selected modes and alerts. The display is an essential factor of a cordless stick vacuum, in my opinion. It is because, thanks to the LED display, I can know when I need to recharge the battery so that there is no interruption in the next cleaning. Moreover, it also notifies me of the problem with my vacuum, and I can make proper maintenance to ensure long-term cleaning efficiency.
Attachments
The accessories coming with the Jet 70 and Jet 75 are relatively similar and vary depending on the variants you selected. I have researched the available variants and corresponding attachments of Samsung Jet 70 vs Jet 75. You can see the collected information in two tables below.
For me, the cleaning tools of both Jet 70 and Jet 75 are well-built and support the cleaning performance efficiently. Up to now, I haven’t faced any problems when using the tools with these vacuums in the handheld form. So, I give it a tie for this round.
