I get commissions for purchases made through links in this post. Read more

The Samsung Jet 60 Flex and Jet 60 Fit are two variants in the Jet 60 series, a lightweight and compact vacuum series of Samsung. They have the same appearance and comparable cleaning performance. The noticeable difference between the Samsung Jet 60 Flex vs Fit is the attachment set and color.

Particularly, the Samsung Jet 60 Flex has a rose gold color and additional accessories of crevice tool and combination tool. Meanwhile, the color of the Samsung Jet 60 Fit is silver, and its attachment set includes only the crevice tool in addition to the main Jet Brush Fit cleaner head. Therefore, the Jet 60 Flex is the winner in this comparison.

Owing to the same design of cleaner heads and suction power, the Samsung Jet 60 Fit and Jet 60 Flex give the equivalent cleaning result. They also have the same battery life of about a maximum of 40 minutes. Thus, my overall evaluation is that they are suitable for quick basic cleaning intervals rather than deep cleaning tasks.

Samsung Jet 60 Flex vs Fit: Differences

In the comparison of Samsung Jet 60 Flex vs Fit, the notable difference is in their attachment amount. As the Jet 60 Flex has more attachments, it wins 1-0 against the Jet 60 Fit in this comparison.

Attachments

Winner: Samsung Jet 60 Flex

At a glance, the attachments of Jet 60 Flex and Jet 60 Fit are similar, but they do have a difference. The Jet 60 Flex has one more attachment than the Jet 60 Fit, which is the Combination Tool. This attachment combines the dusting brush and upholstery tool, which is useful for cleaning up dust and pet hair on furniture.

The following table shows the included attachments of each vacuum model, for reference.

Apart from that, they have the same cleaner head, charging dock, and crevice tool. Besides, they are all compatible with the clean station (sold separately), which is claimed to offer a healthier way to dump the dust cup with no dust clouds.

I did experience the clean station and found it relatively interesting and useful, especially for someone suffering from dust allergies. With a slight push of a button, the station removes all dust contents in the cup to its dust bags.

The dust bag is disposable, so you just need to take it out once it is full and replace the new one. However, this can be a notable concern because you will need to spend extra money to buy replacement dust bags.

Samsung Jet 60 Flex vs Fit: Similarities

Besides the difference in attachments, other aspects of the Samsung Jet 60 Flex vs Fit are the same. These aspects include cleaning performance, dust cup capacity and filtration system, and design and convenience.

Cleaning performance

The reason I evaluated both Samsung Jet 60 Flex and Jet 60 Fit as having the same cleaning performance is that they feature the equivalent suction power and the same brush type for the main floor head.

Overall, these two vacuums can be used on both carpets and bare floors. In particular, they handle small and fine debris well, on both floor types. However, with large debris or piles of pet hair, their pick-up performance is not as efficient as I expected. They often drag the pet-hair cluster around and struggle to suck in the large fruit loops or piles of cereals.

Besides, they are perfect for quick clean up but is not great for deep cleaning tasks like other stick vacuums with stronger suction like the Samsung Bespoke Jet or Dyson V15 and upright vacuum cleaners.

One drawback I’ve experienced when using them is that their Jet Fit Brush floorheads are prone to hair-tangled problems because the brush roll is not designed with a self-cleaning mechanism. As a consequence, I have to cut the wrapped hair off the brush frequently, which is somehow tedious.

Design & Convenience

They are all lightweight (5 lbs), so handling them is very easy. In addition, their control buttons are simple and easy to access. However, they do not have digital displays, which I consider quite inconvenient in figuring out the problem of the machines.

Moreover, both Samsung Jet 60 Flex and Jet 60 Fit have low noise levels, which stay around 66-68 dBA, similar to the noise level of normal conversations. Therefore, I believe they are good options for people who are sensitive to noise.

They also feature the same battery with the same runtime of about 40 mins when in the Min modes and approx. 5 mins in the Max mode. I often use the Jet 60 with the Mid mode to vacuum my rooms, and the battery often lasts 15-20 mins. Besides, they require about 3.5 hours to be fully recharged, which is an average charging time on the market.

Dust bin & Filtration

The dust cup size of both the Samsung 60 Flex and the Jet 60 Fit is 0.8 liters, which I thought was adequate for daily fast cleanup. Furthermore, they all include 5-layer HEPA filtration, which efficiently filters out small microdust for fresher emitted air flows. For persons who are sensitive to odors and fine particles, a nice sealed filtering system like the one in the Jet 60 series is an important factor to consider when selecting a stick vacuum.
