Samsung Bespoke Jet vs Miele Triflex: Which one will emerge victorious and earn the crown? Let the showdown begin!
The Samsung Bespoke Jet, no doubt, is currently the most powerful Samsung cord-free vacuum available today. What sets it apart from its predecessors is a Duo Roller floorhead, which works well on all types of surfaces, and a smart Clean Tower, which knocks the emptying process out of the park. If there is anything that can hold you back from getting this model, it’s probably its sky-high price tag.
The Miele Triflex HX1 is a unique stick vacuum with a one-of-a-kind design – Depending on the position of the PowerUnit (motor and dustbin assembly), it can be used in three different configurations, and I believe this feature is handy enough for whole-house cleaning. Better yet, you can get this 3-in-1 model without spending an arm and a leg!

Samsung Bespoke Jet Vs Miele Triflex HX1: Differences
The Samsung Bespoke Jet emerges triumphant with a score of 3-0 and secures a tie against the Miele Triflex. Let’s continue scrolling down for more detailed information!
Cleaning Performance
Winner: Samsung Bespoke Jet
Suction Power & Floorhead
As Samsung’s most powerful stick vacuum, the Bespoke Jet is a real beast with 210 AW suction at its highest power setting. Among the models that I’ve tested, it is only a notch below the Dyson V15 (230 AW). As for the Triflex HX1, Miele didn’t release the AW power specs, but I felt it trailed the Bespoke Jet, but not by much.
The Bespoke Jet is equipped with the new Jet Dual Brush design, which combines a soft roller and a standard brush roll in a single floorhead. It allowed me to transition directly from hard floors to carpet or vice versa without swapping floorheads, as I did with some Dyson models. To be frank, it wasn’t the first time I’d seen this 2-in-1 design – Shark hit the market with various models with this type of floorhead (such as the Shark IZ862H). As for the Miele Triflex HX1, it comes with a traditional brush roll, which Miele calls “Multi-Floor.”
Hard Floor
My tests showed that the Bespoke Jet picked up everything from fine to medium debris without any issues. It only had problems with larger debris, where it just pushed large amounts ahead instead of inhaling. The issue seems to stem from the design of its main nozzle: its motorized roller is non-motorized (unlike the Shark’s DuoClean cleaning head), so it can’t spin independently.
Mine is the Miele Triflex standard version, so it doesn’t come with a dedicated hard-floor brush. Its Multi-Floor head has a low-clearance inlet, which prevented it from picking up larger debris on my hard floor. Thankfully, it did a better job with other debris.
Carpet
My carpets were where the Triflex HX1 excelled with its 2-in-1 floorhead and above-average airflow. I found it easily removed almost all debris in a single pass, leaving a clean path behind with just a small amount of fine debris.
The Samsung Bespoke Jet, on the other hand, also rounded out my test with high scores across the board. I was glad I could inhale all kinds of debris and experience no issues at all.
Hair test
Both the Samsung Bespoke Jet vs Miele Triflex could remove all the hair/fur on both hard floors and carpets in a forth-and-back pass – no problems there! A thing that should be taken into account is that there was a moderate amount of hair tangled around their rollers. It’s a widespread issue for models without any sort of de-tang technology. Thankfully, it was easy to untangle them by hand.

Attachments & Storage
Samsung Bespoke Jet | Miele Triflex HX1 |
---|---|
Jet Dual Brush Mini Motorized tool (aka Pet Tool) Flexible tool Combination Tool Long Reach Crevice Tool Smart Clean Station Dust bag (1x installed, 2x spare) Accessory cradle Charger Included Battery (x2) | Multi-surface floor brush Turbo brush Crevice tool Furniture brush Wall holder & Accessory clip Battery (x1) |
In my perspective, the factor that significantly contributes to the Samsung Bespoke Jet’s higher price tag is the included high-tech Clean Station. This tower isn’t optional and is pre-assembled. The only task left is to find a suitable place to put it since it is quite cumbersome.
This tower acts as both a charging dock and, as the name suggests, a cleaning stand. Just park the dustbin on top, and the vacuum will be automatically charged, and the dust cup can be emptied with the push of a button (more on this later). Initially, I believed it would be easy to tip over accidentally, but then I soon realized that it is very well-balanced.
In terms of storage, the Bespoke Jet comes with an accessory cradle that can house all attachments and a charging slot for the included spare battery. Picking the cradle up and carrying it around is easy since it’s got a handle at the top. My only gripe is that it takes up extra space, although it’s quite compact. It is worth noting that the Bespoke Jet sports a telescopic wand, similar to the Jet 90, that can be stretched or collapsed to reach higher or for compact storage.
The Miele Triflex, like most cordless sticks out there, can be stored and charged by docking into the included wall holder. The wall holder keeps the vacuum and all attachments neatly stored and easily accessible while saving valuable floor space. And if the idea of drilling into the wall makes you uneasy, just reconfigure it into an upright vacuum, allowing it to stand independently.
Weight & Maneuverability
With a weight of approximately 5.7 pounds, the Bespoke Jet is lighter than the Jet 90, which tips the scales at 6.2 pounds. The disparity may appear trivial, but in the realm of stick vacuums, even the slightest variation in weight makes sense. I bet even old people could use this one without worrying much about its weight.
The Bespoke Jet model is a bit top-heavy, but it wasn’t a big deal for me. Maneuvering it is easy, and it also gets under low-clearance furniture easily as it can lay practically flat on the ground. And, of course, it can also be turned into a handheld vacuum to clean nooks and crannies.
As the intro mentions, the Miele Triflex can be used in three different forms to adapt to any cleaning situation. Switching back and forth between forms is a bit time-consuming and isn’t particularly convenient since it requires some disassembly and reassembly, but it is straightforward.
In the traditional stick configuration, where the dustbin is on top, the handle weight will increase, and it can’t stand on its own. I used it to clean under furniture and whip cobwebs away from ceilings.
The next configuration is upright, where I found its dustbin below and near the floorhead. There are some good reasons why it is interesting to have the dust cup placed underneath: the vacuum can be parked itself, and its center of gravity moves down, cutting down on hand fatigue.
The final configuration is handheld, which is the most compact and lightweight. In this mode, it is easy to attach attachments to clean hard-to-reach areas, such as car upholstery and narrow stairs.
Battery Life
Both the Samsung Bespoke Jet vs Miele Triflex are claimed to run continuously for up to 60 minutes but with the lowest setting and non-motorized tools. I tested each one with the main nozzle and obtained the following results:
Samsung Bespoke Jet | Miele Triflex HX1 | |
---|---|---|
Maximum Battery Life | ≈ 42 mins | ≈ 53 mins |
Minimum Battery Life | ≈ 14 mins | ≈ 13 mins |
Charging Time | ≈ 3 hours | ≈ 4 hours |
The Bespoke Jet includes two removable batteries, so its runtime can be doubled by replacing the depleted battery with a fully charged one. So you can leave one charging while vacuuming with the other, then swap over when the machine runs out of juice. Two batteries can also be charged simultaneously: place the installed battery atop the Clean Station and another in the accessory cradle’s dedicated slot.
As for the Miele Triflex HX1, only one removable battery is included in the box. So if you’ve got a mammoth-sized home, it is wise to spend on an extra battery to reduce the interruptions to your vacuuming task.
Dustbin & Filtration System
Winner: Samsung Bespoke Jet
The Samsung Bespoke Jet vs Miele Triflex share a 0.5-liter dust canister. But the first one takes the lead with the smart Clean Station designed to simplify the process of emptying the dustbin. It could certainly score some brownie points with people with severe allergies by preventing dirt and allergens from spreading around.
Just put it on the top of this tower, press a button, and all the contents will find their way down to a 2-liter single-use bag, which will need to be replaced by the new one after about four emptying cycles. The tower also has a HEPA filter, which should be cleaned regularly. Of course, if you want to eliminate the recurring costs incurred by replacing the dust bag, just empty the dustbin manually.
Cleaning the Miele Triflex dust tank is a bit more complicated. You must turn the top lid slightly counter-clockwise to click the dust container out, and then keep twisting the lid until the gravity-operated door opens and ejects all the dust.
Samsung equips the Bespoke Jet with a 5-layer filtration system and claims that it can trap 99.999% of fine dust. This system includes a cyclone, a microfilter, and a HEPA filter. The first two filters can be rinsed with water. Meanwhile, the HEPA-level filter isn’t washable, and you must tap it to remove any dust and debris.
In Miele Triflex’s dustbin, I discover two filters, including A HEPA filter. Together, they boast of eliminating 99.98% of microscopic dust particles, making this model ideal for those with allergies. Unfortunately, they can’t be washed under the tap – you need to gently tap them to remove any accumulated dust and dirt instead.
Utilities
Winner: Tie
User Interface
As a somewhat expensive machine, the Miele Triflex should have a digital screen. This vacuum doesn’t even show battery life. It has only a simple sliding switch used to choose the desired suction power ‘1’, ‘2’, or “Max.” With the last two settings enabled, the multi-surface floorhead will automatically detect the surface type and activate the optimal brush power.
On the flip side, like the latest Dyson vacuums, the Bespoke Jet has a fancy LCD screen that can calculate and indicate battery life. Also, it conveys other information about the vacuum, including the current power mode and maintenance tasks. When docked, the digital screen will become a battery charging indicator.
Despite being expensive and technologically advanced machines, it is disappointing to note that neither of these vacuums comes equipped with headlights. Consequently, cleaning underneath furniture poses a slightly challenging task.
