In the comparison between Samsung Bespoke Jet vs Dyson V12 Detect Slim/Absolute, the result is a tie. Generally, they are very impressive cordless stick vacuums in the market with high cleaning efficiency on multiple surfaces.
The Samsung Bespoke Jet is outstanding for its clean station, allowing emptying the dust bin with a touch of a button and no dust cloud. Besides, its suction is relatively stronger than the Dyson V12. It comes with an additional battery for longer runtime and cleaning.
Meanwhile, the Dyson V12 stands out for its state-of-the-art technology with the dust sensor to provide intelligent reports on the LCD screen and auto-adjust the suction depending on surfaces and dust density. Besides, its laser light is very effective in revealing micro dust on the hard floor. This vacuum is especially suitable for pet owners thanks to the effective hair-detangling mechanism of the brush rollers.

Samsung Bespoke Jet vs Dyson V12 Slim: Differences
In the comparison of Samsung Bespoke Jet vs Dyson V12, the Bespoke wins 2-1 against the Dyson V12. For me, the Bespoke Jet is better as it has a longer battery life with shorter charging time and a great clean station for no hassle of dust clouds. Meanwhile, the Dyson V12 outperforms in terms of utility. Besides, for the cleaning performance, it is a tie between the two vacuums.
Cleaning performance
Tie!
Suction
According to the specifications, the suction in air watt of the Bespoke Jet is 210, and of the Dyson V12 is 150. This indicates that the suction power of the Bespoke Jet is more significant.
To know whether these numbers were reliable, I collected their suction and airflow at the cleaner head in the max power modes, and the data did confirm the accuracy of the specifications. Particularly, the suction and airflow data are 92 inches and 57 cfm for the Dyson V12, while those of the Bespoke Jet are 119 inches and 57 cfm, respectively.
Both of the vacuums have different power modes for different cleaning purposes and surfaces. However, the Dyson V12 has auto mode, which is activated when using the attachments. In this mode suction of the vacuum is adjusted automatically based on the calculated dust density and cleaning surfaces. This special feature also helps optimize the battery life of the Dyson V12.
Floor-type compatibility
The depicted suction measurement is approximate, while their actual picking-up performance is more critical. Overall, they can be considered top-of-the-line vacuums in the market as performance on either bare floors or carpets is impressive.
On carpets, they offer great pick-up performance as debris with different sizes and hair are collected into the dust bin very well without any difficulty. However, for the deep cleaning experiments on medium carpets, the Bespoke Jet performs relatively better results in pulling up embedded sands than the Dyson V12. This could be attributed to its stronger suction.
On the bare floor, the coarse or fine debris is sucked up effectively owing to soft brush rollers of their cleaner heads. This soft brush roller will help provide a better seal for the cleaner head on the bare floor, which contributes to enhancing the pick-up efficiency.
However, with large piles of debris or large-size particles on bare floors, there still exists some minor problems, which can be ascribed to their brush roller and cleaner head design.
Brushroll & cleaner head design
To continue demonstrating the factors affecting Bespoke Jet’s and Dyson V12’s cleaning performance, I will discuss the design of their brush roll and cleaner head.
The Bespoke Jet’s cleaner head comes with a dual-brush roll system, a combination of a standard turbo brush and a soft brush. As I mentioned above, this combination will work well and transition easily between carpeted and hard floors. However, the drawback is that its soft brush roller is not motorized, or does not spin dependently as the turbo brush does. This actually causes difficulty in sucking in the large pile of debris.
On the other hand, the Dyson V12 comes with a pack of two separate cleaner heads with different brush roll designs. One is the motorized brush roll with a hair-detangling mechanism, and one with the fluffy soft brush. The fluffy soft brush cleaner head is ideal for cleaning bare floors and has no problem with large-pile debris like the dual-brush cleaner head of Bespoke Jet.
Additionally, I really like the cleaner head with the de-tangling motor bar of the Dyson V12. It can be used on both carpets and bare floors, so it is a good choice for mixed-floor houses and apartments. Moreover, it is more appropriate for cleaning long and short pet hair due to its effective hair-detangling mechanism. So, if you are a pet owner, the Dyson V12 could be a suitable vacuum to give a go.
Nevertheless, the standard de-tangling cleaner head of Dyson V12 still has difficulty in picking up large particles on bare floors. It is because of the design of its cleaner gate. Unlike many models in the same Dyson line, the cleaner gate of V12 Slim/Absolute is fixed, making it difficult to collect all large particles like fruit loops into the dust bin.
Dust bin & Filtration
Winner: Samsung Bespoke Jet
Clean station
What makes the Samsung Bespoke Jet a better model in this category is its cleaning station. For me, the clean station is very useful and can have a significant impact on our health in the long term.
In particular, with the clean station, emptying the dust bin of the Samsung Bespoke Jet is much easier, with just a touch of a button. All the vacuumed hair and debris are released into the bag inside the station. Therefore, it is free of dust clouds!
However, there are two drawbacks of the Bespoke Jet’s clean station I noticed after using this vacuum for a while. First, its dust bags are disposable, meaning that I have to purchase new packs of bags periodically. Second, the lid of the dust cup is not completely closed after the collected stuff is removed. Therefore, if I forget to check and close the lid tightly, the dust will get out of the dust bin while vacuuming.
Dust cup capacity & filtration system
For Samsung Bespoke Jet vs Dyson V12 filtration and dust cup, the result is a tie because the difference in the capacity and filtering systems is insignificant.
As Dyson aims at the compactness in their V12 Detect Slim, the dust bin capacity of the Dyson V12 is smaller than other models and even that of the Bespoke Jet. However, the difference is not significant as the Bespoke Jet dust bin is only 0.1 L larger than the Dyson V12’s. Additionally, their dust cups are easy to dump and clean thoroughly.
The Bespoke Jet and Dyson V12 all have completely sealed filtering systems that can filter microdust particles (0.03 microns) with an efficiency of up to 99.99%. This number satisfies the HEPA standard in general. Therefore, their filtration is appropriate for people who are sensitive to dust as allergy and asthma sufferers.

Maneuverability & controls
After comparing the weight of Samsung Bespoke Jet vs Dyson V12, I can say that they bring a similar experience while navigating, though the specifications indicate that the Dyson V12 is a bit lighter. Additionally, they are easy to steer on carpets and bare floors.
Besides, the wand of the Bespoke Jet is extendable, meaning that I can lengthen and shorten the wand depending on my needs and type of surfaces. This feature makes the Bespoke Jet a little better in maneuvering handling when cleaning the above-floor surfaces.
Unlike other versions, the Dyson V12 models address the drawback of holding the power trigger during the vacuuming time. The power trigger is removed for the single-button power control. Thus, I don’t have to hold the trigger and can easily change hands during the cleaning. This feature is similar to that on the Bespoke Jet. Therefore, navigating these two vacuums is much easier and more comfortable.
Battery
The specifications show that both vacuums have a max runtime of 60 mins per battery, which will vary between different power modes. The Bespoke Jet will offer more amount of runtime to spend than the Dyson V12 as it comes with a pack of 2 batteries. This means that I can use the second battery consecutively after the first one runs out. In this way, the max runtime of the Bespoke Jet can reach 120 mins.
The runtime in different modes and charging time for the Bespoke Jet and Dyson V12 are demonstrated in the table below. These numbers are collected according to those displayed on their screens. I cannot confirm that these numbers are completely accurate as the runtime is influenced by the used attachments, the floor types, and the density of dust; so they are suitable for reference.
I could say that the actual runtime per battery of the Dyson V12 is relatively better than that of the Bespoke Jet, allowing you to vacuum more in one battery. However, the charging time of the Dyson V12 is 30 mins longer than that of the Bespoke Jet. Besides, the Bespoke Jet comes with an extra battery which is easy to change; thus, I don’t have to worry about running out of battery while cleaning. So, I will give it a tie in their battery comparison.

Utility
Winner: Dyson V12 Detect Slim
Laser light
The included fluffy cleaner head of the Dyson V12 has a laser light, which is one of the features making the Dyson V12 better than the Bespoke Jet in this round. With the laser light, the microdust and hair are revealed effectively, contributing to optimizing the cleaning performance on bare floors. Moreover, it is possible to turn off the laser light, if not necessary, to save battery life.
LCD Screen intelligent report
Similar to the digital screen of the Bespoke Jet, the LCD screen of the Dyson V12 also shows the runtime countdown corresponding to each mode and the maintenance alert.
What makes the Dyson V12 notably different from the Bespoke Jet is the dust-measurement report display on the LCD screen after cleaning. Specifically, the LCD screen displays the amount of picked-up dust particles, which are categorized scientifically based on their diameters. Thus, in terms of utility, the Dyson V12 is the winner.
Attachments
Both Samsung Bespoke Jet and Dyson V12 have good sets of attachments that are sufficient for cleaning multiple surfaces. They all come with dusting brushes, crevice tools, and pet turbo brushes that can act as upholstery tools.
Besides, the attachments of the Dyson V12 will vary depending on the version you choose. For the V12 Detect Slim, the attachment set is standard, while that of the V12 Detect Slim Absolute has more accessories. You can see the difference in the attachment set between Samsung Bespoke Jet vs Dyson V12 Slim/Absolute in the following table.
Samsung Bespoke Jet | Dyson V12 Detect Slim | Dyson V12 Detect Slim Absolute |

Combination Tool Crevice Tool Pet Tool Flex Tool Charging Accessory Cradle Dust Bags | Anti-tangle hair screw tool Combination tool Crevice tool Docking station Wand clip Charger | Anti-tangle hair screw tool Combination tool Crevice tool Up-top adaptor Fabric and mattress tool Mini soft dusting brush Docking station Wand clip Charger |
Here I want to discuss a little bit about the hair screw tool and pet tool of the Dyson V12 and the Samsung Bespoke Jet, respectively. Both tools are great for picking up pet hairs and debris on upholstery. However, I am more on the hair screw tool of the Dyson V12 as it is self-detangling and easy to use. Meanwhile, the pet tool of Bespoke Jet could fall out if you press it too much, and it does not have a self-cleaning roller.
