If you are sitting on the fence in the Kenmore Intuition vs Shark Navigator battle, this article will help you decide which vacuum should go for. They are both offered at the same price and can effectively clean different surfaces. However, the Kenmore intuition does slightly better, making it the superior choice.
When it comes to the overall cleaning performance, the Kenmore Intuition is clearly the superior model to choose from. Because it has a higher suction power, a larger capacity for the dustbin, and more additional features, this device is an obvious choice to make.
Nevertheless, the Shark Navigator NV352 is also an excellent vacuum. If you find a bagless vacuum, this one is my top pick. It is also a very effective cleaner, collecting debris (including hair from pets) from almost any type of flooring surface.
Kenmore Intuition vs Shark Navigator: Comparison Chart
Kenmore Intuition Vs Shark Navigator: Differences
Kenmore Intuition beats Shark Navigator NV352 convincingly by a score of 4-0. The higher airflow in Kenmore vacuums contributes to the product’s superior cleaning performance. A trash dustbin can with a capacity that is twice as large can store more dust. And furthermore, it is easier to maneuver.
Cleaning Performance
The Winner: Kenmore Intuition
Suction Strength
You know that the higher the airflow, the more dust can be moved from the nozzle into the bag, right? With its larger airflow, the Kenmore Intuition proved to be the superior model in my testing.
The Kenmore Intuition’s power and performance were really good. I measured 87 CFM of airflow at the hose, 72 CFM at the head, and 80 inches of suction at the hose. Which is almost exactly the same numbers on the Shark Navigator, except for the airflow at the head numbers, which for some reason, were a pretty good amount higher on the Kenmore. On the Shark, I measured 61 CFM of airflow at the head. The performance seemed to be confirmed on the crevice pickup test, where the Kenmore did much better than the Shark Navigator NV352.
It’s safe to say that the Kenmore has more power at the head than the Shark. Which is a good thing in the deep clean test, where I test how well they can pick up sand that has been embedded into the medium-pile carpet. Kenmore Intuition scored a perfect 100.
Another pro was their performance with debris on the surface of hard floors and carpets. The Kenmore has a fixed height gate system just like the shark, but the Kenmore’s gates are a little bigger. And thus, the Kenmore performs a little bit better with larger debris than the Sharks on hard floors and carpets.
Dustbin
The Winner: Kenmore Intuition
Dustbin Capacity
Kenmore Intuition’s dustbin capacity is 3.1 liters, two times more than the 1.32 liters dustbin of Shark Navigator.
Because it has a larger capacity, the Kenmore Intuition vacuum cleaner requires me to empty the dustbin less frequently. Kenmore also has a full bin indicator, informing me whenever I need to empty the bag. Moreover, because all of the dirt and dust is held in the bag, emptying the dustbin is a walk in the park for me.
Bagged/Bagless
For the Kenmore Intuition, this one is a bagged vacuum that is most suitable for persons who suffer allergy and asthma. With this one, we have a dust bag release on the top. As for myself, I like the way that I don’t have to get any of the dust on me when I empty the dustbin. Whenever I try to clean the dust bin, I replace it with the other bag and be ready to go. It has a patented bag release button that even further reduces your contact with dust.
When buying this bagged-type vacuum, you might be concerned about the necessity of purchasing replacement dust bags. Thankfully, the Kenmore Intuition comes with 6 additional bags, which will help me save some money.
Shark Navigator is a bagless vacuum. It also has its own advantages. I feel this one is more convenient than the former one. To dispose of dirt and dust, I just simply detach the dustbin from its base without pulling out a separate bag. I also save money by not having to buy bags.
Design And Convenience
The Winner: Kenmore Intuition
Weight
Every day I have to vacuum, and I have to carry the vacuum from one room to another quite a lot. As a result, I always look for a relatively lightweight vacuum. Well, the Kenmore Intuition and the Shark Navigator are both up to par with what I need.
The Shark Navigator NV352 is a little bit lighter. It weighs 12.5 pounds, less than the Kenmore Intuition’s weight of 14 pounds. In fact, they are both considerably lighter than average vacuum. I have had no trouble carrying these vacuums upstairs or anywhere else in my house.
Cord length
The Shark Navigator NV352 has a shorter cord length of 25 feet, while its counterpart Kenmore Intuition features a 30-foot power cord.
For me, a power cord that is longer is almost always preferable. However, in most cases, their length is adequate for my demand. As a result, plugging into a certain area enables me to achieve maximum cleaning without having to continuously move the cord from the plug to plug in other locations.
Extension Wand
We can attach an extension wand to vacuum to reach further and eliminate pesky cobwebs and other debris in hard-to-reach places. In this term, a longer extension wand would therefore be preferable.
I always felt that the wand on Shark Navigator NV352 was just a little bit too short, at least for my preference. The wand on the Kenmore is longer. I can clean more difficult-to-reach areas with greater ease.
Cleaning Path Width
The wider the cleaning path or brush is, the fewer passes you have to finish to vacuum all your home. So, I appreciate the wider cleaning path of Kenmore Intuition, which is 11 inches, than the 9.5 inches cleaning path of Shark Navigator NV352.
Both are noticeably narrower than most other vacuums’ standard widths. I think their cleaning paths should be at least 15 inches wide so I can clean the big floors faster.
Utilities
The Winner: Kenmore Intuition
Led lights
The Kenmore Intuition has led lights, which are a feature that makes a significant improvement. You may think it is silly and pointless for the vacuum cleaner to have headlights on it. However, the reality is that having lights on your vacuum is a feature that comes in pretty handy.
The headlights will reflect dirt, dust, cobwebs, and other debris at a lower angle than the overhead home lights can light up. It truly shows my cat and dog hair on the floor that my bare eye could never see.
