In the comparison of Hoover Linx vs ONEPWR Blade+, I decided that the Hoover Linx got the first prize though it is the older model. Overall, they are budget vacuums for light cleaning, not deep cleaning.
The Hoover Linx, for me, performs good cleaning results on both carpeted and bare floors. It outperforms the ONEPWR Blade+ in the test of picking up larger debris. Besides, it can stand on its own and has a button to turn off the brush roll.
However, the Hoover Linx doesn’t include any cleaning attachments, which is not the case with the Hoover ONEPWR Blade+. The ONEPWR Blade+ offers greater utility and versatility. It features bright LED headlights and three standard tools for easily cleaning above-floor surfaces. Yet, the ONEPWR Blade+ is top-heavy, and its cleaning performance is not as great as the Hoover Linx’s.

Hoover Linx vs ONEPWR Blade+: Differences
The Hoover Linx won 2-1 against the ONEPWR Blade+ because I noticed that the Linx performs greater overall cleaning efficiency and offers better design for cleaning convenience. Meanwhile, the ONEPWR Blade+ wins its victory in the round of utility.
Cleaning performance
Winner: Hoover Linx
The suction power of the Hoover Linx and ONEPWR Blade+ is comparable. Their measured airflow at the cleaner head at high power was about 31 cfm, which I considered good for cordless vacuums in this price range. With such suction power, either the Hoover Linx or the ONEPWR Blade+ offers decent cleaning performance and is most appropriate for light-duty, quick daily cleaning.
Breaking down to more specific tests, I figured out that the Hoover Linx’s pick-up efficiency was better than that of the ONEPWR Blade+, especially in terms of collecting larger things. Besides, both of them can work on carpets but just for low-pile or medium-pile rugs/carpets, not for thick shag carpets, as their brush roll would stop spinning.
In particular, both of these two vacuums are good at cleaning small and fine debris like sand and sugar on bare floors. I can get all debris sucked up in 1-2 passes without any struggles. However, if you are afraid that the spinning bristle brush will scratch the floor, the Hoover Linx is a solution for you because it allows you to turn off the brush roll for the suction-only mode.
When dealing with larger debris like cereals, kibbles, or cheerios, the Hoover Linx gives the better result, while the ONEPWR Blade+ pushes these things around and makes it difficult to collect them up even when testing on carpets. The design of the cleaner head can be attributed to this result. The floorhead of Hoover Linx has a small gate in the center of the floorhead’s bottom, allowing the large debris to be sucked in more easily.
Meanwhile, the floorhead’s bottom of the ONEPWR Blade+ is flat, and the distance between it and the floor is small. Thus, large debris is stuck and pushed. Indeed, it is possible to collect these larger things with the hose when using the ONEPWR Blade+, but the result is not satisfying because the suction is not strong enough.
However, the floorhead design of the ONEPWR Blade+ creates better seals on the floor, making it better for vacuuming dirt in the floor crevices and cracks. I can clean up almost sand in the crevices in one forward pass. Meanwhile, the Hoover Linx needs several passes to clean all the salt in my kitchen floor cracks.
I would say that their performance is decent in dealing with pet hair, as they can remove either human hair or pet hair on carpets and hard floors. Nevertheless, I need to clean their brush roll after every cleaning because the hair gets significantly tangled on the roller. So, they are not ideal vacuums for cleaning pet hair, especially for those whose pet sheds like crazy.
Dust bin & Filtration
Tie!
The dust cup capacity of the Hoover Linx and ONEPWR Blade+ is quite similar, about 0.5 and 0.4 liters, respectively. This capacity is average for cordless vacuums in one quick cleaning.
However, if you are suffering from asthma and allergies, I do not recommend these vacuums for you because their filtration systems do not have HEPA filters or complete seal technology. Thus, the microdust that cannot be seen with bare eyes is expelled with the air. So, in this case, you should spend more to get a vacuum with HEPA filtration, such as the Tineco A10 Hero, or the advanced complete seal filtration and the clean station like in the Samsung Jet 70 bundle.
Design & Convenience
Winner: Hoover Linx
Maneuverability
Though the total weight of the Hoover ONEPWR Blade+ is lighter than that of the Hoover Linx, it is top-heavy, which may put strains on your hand and wrist. Unlike the ONEPWR Blade+, the Hoover Linx’s top is lightweight as the weight is distributed largely on the bottom part of the vacuum. Thus, maneuvering the Hoover Linx is easier and more comfortable than maneuvering the ONEPWR Blade+.
On the other hand, it is easier for the ONEPWR Blade+ to get under the furniture than the Hoover Linx. The reason is that the Hoover ONEPWR Blade+ is more compact and can lay flat on the ground. Meanwhile, when I try to get the Hoover Linx tilted close to the floor, its cleaner head is lifted. Moreover, the ONEPWR Blade+ can be converted to a handheld vacuum for conveniently cleaning upholstery or car interior.
Battery
What I really appreciate about the Hoover Linx and ONEPWR Blade+ is their removable batteries. This feature allows me easily replace the runout battery with another full-charged one to extend the cleaning time.
Regarding the runtime, the brand states that these two vacuums can operate for a maximum of 30-35 minutes. However, my record revealed that their actual maximum runtime is approximately 20-25 minutes with low power. Besides, their minimum recorded runtime stands at around 11 minutes at high power. Therefore, it’s my evaluation that these vacuums are better suited for light-duty cleaning on a day-to-day basis.
Noise level & Storing
When I measured the noise of these two vacuums at 5 feet, the results were quite the same at about 70 dB – 72 dB. However, I don’t like the sound of the Hoover ONEPWR Blade+ because it has a higher and piercing frequency, which causes discomfort to my ears, especially when vacuuming carpets.
For ease of storage, I prefer the Hoover Linx to the ONEPWR Blade+ because it can stand unsupported in the upright position. Meanwhile, the ONEPWR Blade+ requires leaning or hanging on the wall.
Utility
Winner: Hoover ONEPWR Blade+
Headlights
The Hoover ONEPWR Blade+ has bright LED headlights, while the Hoover doesn’t. The headlights can significantly support the cleaning performance on bare floors because they help reveal hidden dust often missed by bare eyes. Thus, I give the ONEPWR Blade+ one point in this round.
Attachments
The ONEPWR Blade+ has three standard cleaning tools, including Dusting Brush, Crevice Tool, and Upholstery Tool, allowing me to easily clean the above surfaces like tables, blinds, sofas, etc. On the other hand, the Hoover Linx does not include any above-floor cleaning accessories, so I can only use it for cleaning floors and stairs.
Besides, the cleaning tools of the Hoover ONEPWR Blade can vary depending on the model you choose. The following table includes the current models of Hoover ONEPWR Blade and their attachments for reference.
