I have tested their performance on this surface, and they can generally clean very well. One part dues to the suction power, and the other dues to the low-profile floor nozzle with the anti-tangle brushroll. They grip the floors very well, unlike many flimsy vacuums with a too-tall head height that is also unadjustable. Those are the ones that can’t handle bare floors well.
