A persistent issue with bagless vacuum cleaners is the inevitable production of dust clouds when emptying their dustbins. No matter how user-friendly and easy the emptying mechanism is and how careful you are, there’s always a possibility of dust and dirt dispersion – This is not good for individuals suffering from severe allergies at all.
Considering this concern, many manufacturers have incorporated a self-cleaning mechanism into their models, with the most prominent among them being Samsung Bespoke Jet vs LG Cordzero. These tech-rich machines are exorbitantly expensive, but for good reasons: they have insanely strong suction, come with a wide range of attachments, have elegant designs, and the best part is that their dustbins can be emptied hands-free.
After careful consideration, I’ve given the winning ticket to the LG Cordzero (with AIO Tower). However, the Samsung Bespoke Jet still retains distinct advantages that set it apart from its competitors.

Samsung Bespoke Jet Vs LG Cordzero: Differences
The LG Cordzero triumphs over the Samsung Bespoke Jet with a score of 3-1. Now, let’s delve deeper into my comprehensive review for a clearer understanding of both contenders.
Design & Usability
Winner: LG Cordzero
Attachments & Storage
Samsung Bespoke Jet | LG Cordzero |
---|---|
Jet Dual Brush Combination Tool Long Reach Crevice Tool Mini Motorized tool Clean station Accessory cradle & Charger Dust bag (1x installed, 2x spare) Removal battery (x2) | Universal Power Nozzle Mop head & Mop pads (x2) Pet Nozzle Combination Tool Crevice Tool Cleaning brush All-in-One Tower Dust bag (1x installed, 2x spare) Extra Pre-Filter Removal battery (x2) |
As highlighted earlier, one of the main selling points of these machines is the addition of smart self-cleaning stations. They have an eye-catching appearance and simplify the process of emptying the dust cup, making them an excellent augmentation to any smart home setup. Rather than relegating these towers to an inconspicuous location, they can be showcased in a prominent spot, potentially even gracing your living room.
The Samsung Bespoke Jet smart tower doubles as a clean station and a charging station for the vacuum, distinguishing it from the Jet 75 or Jet 90. It comes in three elegant colors Midnight Blue, Woody Green, and Misty White – I chose the last one because it seamlessly blends with the decor of my living room. Notably, the tower is well-balanced, dispelling any initial concerns I had about it tipping over.
However, the Bespoke Jet’s charging tower has no storage space for the included accessories – this task is assumed by an accessory cradle. This one has a handle for easy carrying, can keep all the attachments in one place, and, better yet, has a charging slot for the included spare battery. While it’s a great and compact addition, it’s still something else that takes up your floor space. In addition, it requires being plugged into a separate outlet.
On the other hand, the LG Cordzero’s smart station is a standing rectangular cube finished in a light cream color called Sand Beige. This one is called an “all-in-one” tower since it provides an ABC solution: Auto emptying, battery recharging, and compact storage. In short, it serves as an emptying station for the dustbin, a charging station for the vacuum, and a holder for all the attachments.
The LG Cordzero’s AIO tower has two folding front doors to conceal storage space for most attachments, a dust bag, and filters inside. Opening the control panel atop will reveal a charging slot for the extra battery. The outside of each door features a hook to hold the floorhead and the mop nozzle.
These towers arrive pre-assembled, so all that’s required is to determine an appropriate location for them. While their slim design is space-efficient, finding a suitable spot might still be daunting, particularly for those residing in smaller apartments.
One thing the Samsung Bespoke Jet vs LG Cordzero have in common is a telescopic wand that can be adjusted in length. As a result, you will get a vacuum with the optimal length for your height and purposes. When it is not in use, just collapse it to the maximum for compact storage.
Weight & Maneuverability
In their fully assembled states, the Samsung Bespoke Jet vs LG Cordzero weighs 5.7 and 5.9 pounds, respectively. Their well-balanced and lightweight design made handling and maneuvering a breeze, especially with the help of their swivel heads. I am confident that even the senior members of your family could comfortably operate these models without concerns about their weight.
However, when used in the handheld configuration, most of their weight was on my hand, leading to a somewhat top-heavy feel – This is a characteristic typically observed in stick vacuums with dustbins on top. So cleaning the overhead areas can be a bit of a challenge for those who have arthritis in their wrists, elbows, and fingers. Also, their telescopic tubes were a bit short for me, so I had to stoop a bit during the cleaning process, but that’s not a big deal.
These machines could lay almost completely flat, making cleaning under furniture easier. However, this task requires crouching down, which is not friendly for the elderly. The Bespoke Jet’s dual floorhead is a bit bulky, so it is somewhat difficult to get in and out of tight areas, while the LG Cordzero’s cleaning head has a slightly high profile, making it impossible to get under some low-clearance tables. Also, it would be better if their nozzles were equipped with headlights to illuminate any dust and dirt in those dark areas.
Battery Life
The Samsung Bespoke Jet vs LG Cordzero are claimed to be able to run continuously for up to 60 and 80 minutes, respectively. But my tests indicated that when used with their primary nozzle, they couldn’t reach the quoted battery life:
Samsung Bespoke Jet | LG Cordzero | |
---|---|---|
Maximum Battery Life | ≈ 49 mins | ≈ 42 mins |
Minimum Battery Life | ≈ 9 mins | ≈ 7 mins |
Charging Time | ≈ 3,5 hours | ≈ 3,5 hours |
Within the realm of stick vacuums, their battery longevity certainly resides at the higher end of the spectrum. Better yet, they come with two removable batteries, effortlessly extending their run time twofold with a simple battery swap.
As mentioned earlier, the LG Cordzero’s charging tower has the capability to power up two batteries concurrently. Likewise, the Bespoke Jet’s two included batteries can also enjoy simultaneous charging – one nestled within the unit while the other relaxes on the cradle.
Cleaning Performance
Winner: Samsung Bespoke Jet
Suction Power & Floorhead
The Samsung Bespoke Jet has a peak suction power of up to 210 AW, putting it ahead of all its 200-AW predecessors. The CordZero A9 also boasts a formidable 200 AW of suction power.
Regarding the floorhead, the Bespoke Jet comes with a new full-size floorhead called the Jet Dual Brush. This 2-in-1 nozzle includes a front soft roller and a center standard brush roller. At first glance, I thought it imitated the DuoClean floorhead, which can only be found in Shark vacuums, such as the Shark Vertex Pro. But in hindsight, I noticed the difference – the soft roller is non-motorized, so it doesn’t spin actively.
On the other hand, the LG Cordzero comes with a universal power nozzle that is designed to work on all types of surfaces. This one isn’t equipped with any anti-tangle technology.
Hard Floor
Large Debris | Small Debris | |
---|---|---|
Samsung Bespoke Jet | 85% | 100% |
LG Cordzero | 44% | 100% |
The Bespoke Jet still performed well on my hard floor but fell short of the Shark vacuums with DuoClean heads. The reason it didn’t get the perfect score with large materials, in my opinion, is that its soft roller didn’t actively spin. The LG Cordzero, on the other hand, also struggled with large debris due to its low-clearance nozzle.
Carpet
Large Debris | Small Debris | |
---|---|---|
Samsung Bespoke Jet | Low-Pile Carpet: 100% | Low-Pile Carpet: 96% |
High-Pile Carpet: 100% | High-Pile Carpet: 98% | |
LG Cordzero | Low-Pile Carpet: 56% | Low-Pile Carpet: 99% |
High-Pile Carpet: 64% | High-Pile Carpet: 95% |
Fortunately, the Samsung Bespoke Jet performed admirably on my carpets. It just left a hard-to-see amount of small debris, requiring an additional pass to remove everything. Meanwhile, the LG Cordzero still had trouble picking up larger debris, although a good amount of the small ones were easily captured.
Hair Test
Both the Samsung Bespoke Jet vs LG Cordzero easily picked up all the hair strewn across my floors. Just a small amount of long hair was tangled around their brushroll, and removing the remnants was a breeze for me by hand. These are excellent results for models without anti-tangle technology. You can conveniently detach the roller from the floorhead for deeper cleaning.
Dustbin & Filtration System
Winner: LG Cordzero
The Bespoke Jet features a 0.5-liter dustbin, while the LG Cordzero’s canister has a capacity of 0.44 liters. But the latter gains the upper hand with its innovative “Kompression” technology – it’s basically a lever on the side that, once pressed, will compress all the contents inside. As a result, the LG Cordzero dustbin holds more dirt than it seems, resulting in fewer emptying cycles. Emptying their dust cups is a completely touchless and fully sealed process with included clean stations.
As for the Bespoke Jet, you will need to properly place the vacuum on top of the clean station and press a button, and then all the vacuumed dust and dirt will suck down a disposable dust bag (I have seen this type of bag in bagged upright vacuums, such as the Hoover WindTunnel).
As for the LG Cordzero’s AIO tower, there are two options for emptying the dust tank: automatic and manual. For the first option, the dustbin will be emptied automatically whenever you park the machine in the tower. For another, you can also press a button to start and pause the emptying process, similar to the Samsung Bespoke Jet’s station.
Both stations contain several filters, all of which are washable and require periodic rinsing with water to ensure longevity. Their dust bags must also be replaced once they are full (typically after several emptying cycles). Of course, if you’re fine with emptying them manually, you can sidestep the recurring cost of dust bag replacements.
The Samsung Bespoke Jet vs LG Cordzero share a 5-step filtration system, including a cyclone, a mico pre-filter, and a HEPA-level post-filter. All filters on the LG Cordzero are washable, according to the manufacturer. As for the Samsung Bespoke Jet, the cyclone and pre-filter can be rinsed, but the HEPA filter cannot be subjected to the same treatment: a gentle tap against the trash can suffice.
Utilities & Other Features
Winner: LG Cordzero
User Interface & Control Method
The Bespoke Jet is equipped with an eye-catching LCD display: It’s not as cutting-edge as newer Dyson models, such as the Dyson V15, but it still provides all the information I need while vacuuming: the time remaining, the power mode used (min, mid, max, or jet), and maintenance tasks (suck as there is an object stuck in the brush, the filter is clogged/isn’t inserted).
The LG Cordzero’s handle features a battery life indicator and three buttons: a power button, a Wi-Fi button, a Turbo button, and a Wi-Fi button – everything is within thumb reach. As a technology-rich machine, it should be equipped with a digital display. This doesn’t constitute a deal-breaker, but it would be better if it were equipped. There are three buttons within easy reach of my thumb: the center one turns the vacuum on/off, while the two side ones increase/decrease its suction power.
Mop Ability
The LG Cordzero can be used as a wringer mop by pairing it with the included mop head, which has three modes for water output: no water, low water, and high water (the Samsung Bespoke Jet offers similar functionality, but its mop attachment must be procured separately.) So, does it beg the question, “Can it usurp the place of a dedicated mop?” In brief, my answer is no! It’s merely a delightful supplement to the vacuum, not a value-added feature.
First, it can’t vacuum and mop simultaneously like many other models, such as the Roborock H7. So you must vacuum first, or this “knock-off” mop will move dirt around rather than clean it up.
Also, I found both microfiber pads to spin at just one moderate speed, so they failed to dig deep into my uneven, porous ceramic tiles. They also weren’t powerful enough to get rid of some stubborn messes. So this attachment seems only suitable for a quick mop and is far from replacing a real mop.
App Connectivity
The LG Cordzero can also be connected to a smartphone via an app (LG ThinQ app). Once the Wi-Fi connection is complete, it will allow you to keep track of your cleaning history, including the number of times you have used the machine (in the past weeks, months, and years). It also shows which power mode you’ve used. However, the practical utility of these figures was a mystery for me, rendering this feature somewhat redundant in my experience.
On the more profitable side, it allows monitoring of charging progress once the vacuum is parked in its clean station and instructs to wash the filter. Better yet, its “Smart Diagnosis” feature can diagnose potential issues with the vacuum, allowing for preventative maintenance.
