Samsung Bespoke Jet triumphs 3-0 and ties one against Miele Triflex. The first one cleans hard floors better, its dust cup can be emptied easier with the clean station, and its run time can be doubled thanks to the two included batteries.

Suction Power & Floorhead
The Bespoke Jet is a monstrously powerful stick with a maximum suction power of 210 AW, making it the most powerful Samsung Jet vacuum. But it’s not the most powerful model I’ve ever laid my hands on – that title goes to the Dyson V15 (230 AW). The Miele Triflex HX2, on the other hand, peaks at 145 AW on its highest power setting, which is nearly on par with the Dyson V12 (150 AW).
The Bespoke Jet is the first Samsung stick with the Dual Brush design, including a soft roller and traditional brushroll. At first glance, it looks like Shark’s DuoClean floorhead, which is available on their premium stick vacuums, such as the Shark Stratos. But in hindsight, I noticed a big difference between them (more on this later).
The Miele Triflex comes with only one bristle brush roller. It’s worth noticing that mine is the standard version. If you go with the Pro version, you will get three types of roller brushes, including a soft roller that is engineered for cleaning hard floors.
Hard Floor
TriflexThe Triflex HX2 did a sublime job of picking up fine and small debris- It left nothing behind, or at least my naked eyes didn’t detect anything. Switching to larger debris (cheerios and fruit loops), I didn’t have particularly high hopes since the front lip of its floor head almost touched the floor. And my fears came true: it simply pushed the majority of them around since its nozzle’s clearance wasn’t high enough for them to pass underneath.
My test showed that the Samsung Bespoke Jet picked up all the fine crumbs with ease, and the larger debris also presented some notable challenges. I said that its dual brush floorhead differs from the Shark’s DuoClean floorhead, didn’t I? This design includes a non-motorized soft roller so that it can’t spin actively with the traditional roller brush. That is why it sometimes pushed large debris around instead of immediately sucking it in.
Carpet
After the first pass, the Triflex HX2 left behind a small amount of fine debris. Then I did an extra pass, and it could collect all the rest, leaving nothing behind that my naked eyes could spot.
The Samsung Bespoke Jet also performed a bit better. It easily picked up all the debris of all sizes, even the deep-seated ones, without issue, which many other stick vacuums have struggled with in the past.
Hair Test
Like most vacuums, the Miele Triflex HX2 vs Samsung Bespoke Jet can easily pick up all hair and fur with just one or two passes. Sadly, their rollers are prone to getting hair wrapped around them since neither offers any kind of de-tang technology to keep their roller brushes free of hair. It could be a bigger deal if tangled hairs are not removed from the roller in time, which affects its movement and the vacuum’s overall performance.
The Bespoke Jet comes with a pet tool, which is considerably smaller than the main nozzle. As its name suggests, this tool is engineered to tackle pet hair/fur with ease and reduce tangling.

Like various stick vacuums out there, the Triflex HX2 comes with a wall dock that keeps the vacuum and all the attachments organized off the floor. But if you want to avoid drilling and chiseling into your wall to install the wall mount, you can reconfigure it into an upright vacuum. In this configuration, it can stand vertically independently, and you can plug the charger directly into the battery to give it a charge. And, of course, you can also park it on the wall mount.
As for the Bespoke Jet, what makes it stand out among other Samsung Jet vacuums is a smart tower, which acts as both a clean station and a charger. Just park the vacuum on top of this tower, and it will get charged automatically. It would be better if this one could store all the attachments, like the LG CordZero All-in-One.
The included accessory cradle is responsible for storing attachments. This rack can house all the accessories and has a slot for the spare battery. The cradle has a carry handle at the top, so moving it around is easy. This accessory holder is a welcome add-on, but it takes up extra space on the floor, which can be a big deal for small apartments.
Weight & Maneuverability
The Samsung Bespoke Jet weighs about 5.7 pounds when fully assembled, lighter than many models that I’ve tested. It could lay practically flat on the ground, allowing me to clean under the low-clearance furniture easily. I wish its nozzle had some LED bulbs to make the dust and dirt there more visible. I also found the swivel wasn’t great, which means it didn’t move so well at angles.
The Bespoke Jet is also a bit top-heavy, which is a widespread issue with most cordless stick vacuums. The un-well weight distribution can cause a bit of arm/wrist fatigue, especially when it is used as a handheld unit with the wand and the attachment attached.
Now is the time to talk about what makes the Miele Triflex HX2 stand out from the crowd – its three-in-one design. As its “Triflex” name suggests, the HX2 can be used in three configurations: stick, upright, and handheld.
Of course, the configuration that is considered default is “stick” (reach mode). In this configuration, the dustbin is on top, making it a bit top-heavy. Like other sticks, it helped me easily go further under furniture or clean ceilings.
Next, with the dustbin installed near the floorhead, the Triflex HX2 acts as an upright (comfort mode). In this configuration, the vacuum can stand independently, and maneuvering it is easier. I used it to clean large areas, which lasted a long time.
Finally, by detaching the top position from the rest, the Triflex HX2 can be used as a handheld vacuum. I found it very useful for cleaning stairs and hard-to-reach areas.
I give props to this Triflex design, but switching between configurations is a bit complicated and time-consuming. Anyway, the convenience it offers is undeniably immense.
Battery Life
The Miele Triflex HX2 vs Samsung Bespoke Jet is cited as having up to an hour of battery life with the lowest power mode and non-powered attachments. But as I expected, their battery life was shortened when I used them with the main nozzles:

The Bespoke Jet comes with two batteries, so I could double its runtime by replacing the dead battery with a fully charged one and continuing vacuuming. What’s more impressive is that two batteries can be charged simultaneously since the smart tower can automatically charge the vacuum, while the accessory cradle also has a charging slot for a backup battery.
The Miele Triflex HX2 also uses a removable battery. So you might consider buying an extra battery if your cleaning session typically lasts more than an hour. But if you go for the Triflex HX2 Pro, you will get an extra battery and a separate charging dock.
Dustbin & Filtration System
Winner: Samsung Bespoke Jet
Samsung Bespoke Jet features a 0.5-liter dustbin, which is emptied automatically and hygienically with the included Clean Station. So it could score some brownie points with people with severe allergies. Unlike the Jet 90’s clean station, you must press a button on top to have this tower suck all the contents down and send them to a 2-liter disposable bag. After about four to five emptying cycles, this dirtbag must be replaced with a new one. The purchase includes three bags (one installed and two spare packs), and you can buy them on Amazon.
The clean station has a HEPA filter, which should be washed occasionally to extend the vacuum’s life. So whenever you detect a debris buildup on this filter, give it a gentle shake to dislodge all the stuck-on stuff. And if you want to minimize recurring costs, you can manually empty the dust tank.
The Triflex HX2 also features a 0.5-liter dust can, and I found emptying it to be a Heath Robinson process. I had to twist the lid counterclockwise to detach it from the vacuum and turn the lid further in the same direction to open the bottom door to deposit all the contents into your trash can. I found myself needing to poke around with my hand a bit to pull everything out.
According to Samsung’s marketing teams, the Bespoke boasts a 5-layer filtration system (that captures up to 99.999% of dust particles, which does a great job of trapping all the dust particles and preventing them from spreading. This system includes a cyclone, a microfilter, and a HEPA-level filter. The first two filters should be washed with water monthly. As for the HEPA filter, just tap it against the trash to remove all the dust and debris.
The Miele Triflex HX2 filtration system includes a micro-filter and a HEPA filter that is claimed to capture 99.999% of dust particles as well. The HEPA filter can’t be washed with water. Instead, you should clean it with a dusting brush.

User Interface And Power Modes
There’s no fancy digital screen on the Miele Triflex HX2. It just has a trio of LEDs representing its battery life, which will gradually shut off one by one until the device runs out of juice. I also found a thumb-reach slider used to toggle between three power settings: Min, Eco, and Max. The most interesting part is that its main nozzle can automatically detect the floor type and adjust the roller’s spinning speed accordingly to save energy and prolong battery life.
The Samsung Bespoke Jet goes one step ahead with a high-tech LED display. Like the Dyson V11’s LCD screen, it reports the remaining battery life, current suction power, and maintenance tasks. I believe it displays the battery life much more accurately than the Triflex HX2’s triple-LEDs battery indicator. Controlling the Bespoke Jet vacuum is also ergonomically pleasing with three physical buttons: the center button is used to power the machine on/off, while the “+” and “-” buttons are used to adjust the suction power.
