If you are a budget-oriented user and looking for a model that is lightweight, versatile, and has good performance, my comparison of the Tineco A11 Hero Vs Pure One S11 is for you.
Although the Tineco Pure One S11 is a mid-range model, it has excellent performance and is rich in technology. I was most impressed by the ability to automatically fine-tune its suction power based on the density of dirt and debris, which I’ve seen in exorbitantly expensive models like the Dyson V15 and V12. It can even be connected to a smartphone via an app – this is a rare feature.
The Tineco A11 Hero, on the other hand, doesn’t have many bells and whistles, but it’s still worth considering for many good reasons. It is lightweight and easy to maneuver, has an easy-to-empty dust cup, and is equipped with a trigger lock feature. On top of those, it’s very affordable.

Tineco A11 Hero Vs Pure One S11: Differences
I call this comparison a tie. The A11 Hero is available at a lower price tag, but it shares with the Pure One S11 the entire attachment. It’s even more convenient, with two included batteries, which doubles the run time. The Pure One S11, on the other hand, made a big impression on me with some cutting-edge technologies.

Attachments And Storage

The Tineco Pure One S11 comes out of the box with a wall-mounted charging station, which needs to be placed near an outlet to charge and store the vacuum simultaneously. Although the purchase includes only one battery, the station has a slot for a spare battery, which needs to be purchased separately, and rooms for three attachments.
I’ve never liked anything that required drilling in the wall. Still, I must admit that wall-mounted storage solutions are very useful and convenient, especially for keeping the vacuum out of the reach of children.
And, if you’re like me – don’t have a place where you feel comfortable drilling into the wall, the “powerhouse” of the A11 Hero is your lifesaver. It is located on the ground and still has room for a spare battery and a few attachments. It’s a bit bulky and takes up a bit of space, but you can constantly change its position and don’t need to drill the wall.
Weight And Maneuverability
The weights of the Tineco A11 Hero vs Pure One S11 are 5 pounds and 5.7 pounds, respectively. They have a mostly plastic construction, so they are very lightweight but feel flimsy. Of course, I have no problems maneuvering these toys, and my only complaint is that they can’t lie completely flat on the floor, which means they will have a harder time going further under the furniture. LED headlights helped me not to miss anything in dimly lit areas. They can also be used as portable vacuums with attachments attached.
Battery Life
Tineco A11 Hero | Tineco Pure One S11 | |
---|---|---|
Maximum Battery Life | ≈ 32.5 mins | ≈ 34-45mins |
Minimum Battery Life | ≈ 7 mins | ≈ 11 mins |
Charging Time | ≈ 3.5 hours | ≈ 3-4 hours |
As you can see, the charge time is quite long, so having an additional fully charged battery on hand makes sense. The Tineco A11 Hero includes two interchangeable batteries, and its charging base can charge two batteries simultaneously, so you’ll have plenty of time to clean up your home. As for the Pure One S11, backup batteries need to be purchased separately, and, as mentioned above, its wall-mounted charger also has room for a second battery.
Utilities
Winner: Tineco Pure One S11
One thing that the S11 has over the A11 is a dust sensor, which allows the vacuum to automatically adjust suction power based on the amount of dust/debris once the auto mode is turned on. This is also the selling point of the two latest Dyson vacuums, including the Dyson V15 and V12.
The Pure One S11 also features a circular LED display that contains a loop that can change color (in real-time) depending on the amount of dust/debris in the incoming air. Blue indicates the vacuumed air is debris-free, whereas red indicates a lot of debris.
Tineco A11 Hero Vs Pure One S11: Similarities
Cleaning Performance
At the maximum power setting, the suction powers of the Tineco A11 Hero vs Pure One S11 are 120 AW and 150 AW, respectively. Their suction power is far behind many other models I’ve tested, such as the Dyson V15 (230 AW) and Samsung Jet 90 (200 AW).
Regarding the cleaning heads, both come with multi-surface floorheads but lack soft rollers. I always give props to vacuum cleaners with soft rollers, such as the A11 Master, because they give the best results on hard floors.
Neither of them was able to capture all the debris, especially the large ones, on my hard floor. I wasn’t surprised by this result since it was a widespread issue with vacuums without soft rollers. But luckily, they worked great on my carpets, with nearly all debris and dust picked up.
Trigger Lock
Having to keep the vacuum trigger pressed for power constantly is considered one of the biggest problems with Dyson stick vacuums (except the Dyson V12) over the years. It will theoretically increase the run time as it allows you to use power when you really need it, but the price to pay for this is hand fatigue after a while.
Fortunately, Tineco, like many other publishers, put themselves in users’ shoes and put the trigger lock feature on their products. No more holding the trigger – no more hand fatigue!
Dust Cup And Filter System
The Tineco A11 Hero vs Pure One S11 share a 0.6-liter dustbin. I consider this a reasonable size for a stick vacuum – not too big but not particularly small either. These dust cups are easy enough to empty: just pull them off the vacuum and open the bottom door to let all the dirt out.
As for the A11 Hero’s dust cup, it can be washed from time to time if it is really dirty. Just remember to let it dry completely before reinstalling it in the vacuum for the next use. But since the S11’s dust canister contains the dust/debris sensor, avoid getting it wet.
Regarding the filter, the final thing that the Tineco A11 Hero vs Pure One S11 have in common is a sealed filter system that includes a pre-filter and a HEPA post-motor filter.
Washing the filters regularly helps the vacuum run at its optimal suction and makes it run quieter. Tineco suggests washing the pre-filter after every cleaning session, but, to my mind, this is somewhat frequent. I found washing the pre-filter weekly to be the most sensible.
The HEPA filter is the larger one on the back of the handheld unit. It can be washed under running water and air-dried for at least 24 hours before reusing. The manufacturer recommends washing the HEPA filter every 3 months and replacing it annually with a new one.
