I’ve compared the Dyson V11 Torque Drive and LG Cordzero Ultimate and got a draw. Today, I will compare two upgraded versions, the LG Cordzero Kompressor All-in-One vs Dyson V11 Outsize, and see which one is the winner.
The LG Cordzero Kompressor is one of the most tech-rich machines I’ve encountered. Its cleaning performance is mediocre, but the All-in-One tower makes it an extraordinary model. It is designed to reduce the required maintenance and keep all the accessories neatly organized and stowed.
The Dyson V11 Outsize, on the other hand, shines with its cleaning performance. It comes with many attachments and has the ability to suction automatically, something that not many models do.

LG Cordzero Kompressor All-in-One vs Dyson V11 Outsize: Differences
The LG Cordzero outplays the Dyson V11 with a score of 3-1 thanks to its All-in-One tower – the smartest charging station.
Cleaning Performances
Winner: Dyson V11 Outsize
Suction Power And Floorheads
The Dyson V11 Outsize has a maximum power output of 220 AW, making it the most powerful V11 version, greater than the V11 Animal (185 AW) and Torque Drive (185 AW). It’s only slightly lower than the Dyson V15, the best-of-the-line version.
The Cordzero Kompressor All-in-One also has a very impressive peak suction power of 200 AW. It’s more powerful than the Cordzero Ultimate (140 AW) session I’ve tested.
When talking about the included cleaning head, both the LG CordZero vs Dyson V11 come with a multi-surface floorhead that is designed to clean all types of surfaces. But this tool turns out not to be the best for hard surfaces since it can scratch this type of surface.

Hard Floor
The LG CordZero easily picked up almost all the small debris, and the amount left behind was hard to detect with the naked eye. However, it pushed larger debris around rather than picking it up. It is a widespread issue with vacuums without soft rollers. To deal with larger debris messes, I switched to the crevice tool or combination attachment.
The V11 Outsize, better yet, could pick up all small debris and most larger debris since its multi-surface floorhead features two adjustable gates. Still, I bet everything will be more efficient and easier if it is attached to a soft roller. The Absolute is the only V11 version to include this roller type, but it isn’t available in the US. The good news is that you can purchase this soft roller separately.
Carpet
The Outsize did a great job on my carpets. With the Mid/Auto setting enabled, it passed my test with amazing results – a removal rate of up to 100%, which few cordless stick vacuums can do.
As for the LG Cordzero, my carpets showed a similar story to my floor, but there was some improvement regarding large debris. The amount of large debris picked up increased significantly, but not all. Honestly, I expected more than that.
Hair Removal
Both the LG Cordzero Kompressor All-in-One vs Dyson V11 Outsize could pick up all the hair from my floor, but there was a small amount of hair wrapped around the roller after cleaning. So if you often have to deal with the mess left behind by your four-legged friends, check the roller and untangle it frequently.

Attachments And Storage

Battery (x2). | Power drive multi-surface nozzle. Power drive mop. Power drive mini. Combination tool. Crevice tool. Battery (x2). All-in-one charging station. Dust bags (x3) |
The Dyson V11 Outsize, like most of its siblings, comes with a wall-mounted charger for easy and organized storage. This dock can store and charge the vacuum simultaneously and has room for two attachments. And with the wand storage clip attached, two other attachments can be stored on board. This wall-hanging storage solution is ideal for keeping your vacuum away from pets and children, but I don’t favor drilling into my wall.
The new All-in-One (AIO) Tower is the smartest charging station I’ve ever gotten my hands on. It offers what LG calls an ABC solution – auto emptying, battery charging, and compact storage. That means it can automatically empty the dust cup, charge two batteries simultaneously, and store all attachments.
It was a breeze to set up this tower since it was factory assembled, and all I had to do was put it on its base. This system will definitely demand space in your room. Its footprint is relatively small, but it’s tall (around 40 inches). Considering the benefits it brings to the table, it has enough reason to justify its bulky design.
Furthermore, the Lg CordZero’s telescoping wand can be adjusted to several heights to fit your cleaning tasks or for more compact storage. This feature was also applied to the Samsung Jet 90.
Weight And Maneuverability
The V11 Outsize is the heaviest cordless stick vacuum from Dyson. Weighing around 7.85 pounds, it’s slightly heavier than the V11 Torque Drive (6.68 lbs). Due to the dust cup’s position, most of the vacuum’s weight was placed in my hand, making me work harder in lugging it around. Even though the machine isn’t clunky, my hand still got tired after a while. In the handheld configuration, I found carrying this vacuum around to be like carrying a 5-pound dumbbell, so vacuuming some high areas was not a breeze. But maneuvering it is still very easy, thanks to the swivel head, so I don’t think its weight is the end of the world.
The Cordzero Kompressor is a bit lighter at 5.63 pounds. Its grip is comfortable, and its floorhead could twist easily when I vacuumed beneath my furniture. My only gripe is that its multi-surface floorhead is somewhat tall, so I found it got stuck under some kitchen cabinets.
Battery Life
These machines are cordless, so vacuuming was much less arduous for me. Even though some corded vacuums have long power cords, it’s great not to deal with tangles or constantly look for outletsđuring the vacuuming process through. But the battery life is a concern.
Dyson V11 Outsize | Cordzero Kompressor All-in-One | |
---|---|---|
Battery Life | Eco mode: 84 mins | Normal mode: ≈ 49 mins |
Mid/Auto mode: 25 – 43 mins | Power mode: ≈ 21 mins | |
Boost mode: 19 mins | Turbo mode: ≈ 12 mins | |
Charge Time | ≈ 250 minutes | ≈ 210 minutes |
LG includes two secondary batteries that can be charged simultaneously: one in the vacuum and one in the tower. So I got up to 100 minutes of running time on the lowest power mode and nearly half an hour with the turbo mode on.
As you can see, the battery life of the Dyson V11 Outsize is longer, and it also arrives with two swappable batteries. The Dyson V11’s charging station doesn’t have room for the spare battery, so you’ll need to charge them alternately.
Dust Cup Capacity And Filter System
Winner: LG Cordzero Kompressor All-in-One
The LG engineers went the extra mile to minimize your headache by emptying the dust cup. The LG Cordzero Kompressor features a 0.44-liter dustbin, which isn’t the largest I’ve seen. But it can hold more dust and dirt than it seems, thanks to the Kompressor lever, which compacts the contents inside the cup into a small, tight section.
All the contents can also be automatically sucked out by the AIO Tower when you park it. That way, it solves the main issue I have with most vacuums when emptying their dust cups: A dust cloud formed, and my hands got dirty. The AIO tower contains a quite large single-use dust bag that doesn’t need to be replaced frequently and a washable filter. The purchase includes three dust bags, and you can buy more on Amazon.
As for the Dyson V11 Outsize, its dust cup has a capacity of 1.89 liters, which is larger than the dust cup of all other Dyson cordless vacuums. The larger dust cup means it needs to be emptied less often, but it makes the vacuum more top-heavy. Emptying its dust cup is easy since it shares the same “point and shoot” mechanism with its siblings.
The LG Cordzero is advertised as having a 5-step filter system that can trap 99.99% of dust and dirt. Both the cyclone system and filters are washable and should be cleaned regularly to keep the vacuum working at its best. Unfortunately, it doesn’t have a sealed system.
The Dyson V11, on the other hand, has a sealed system and a washable HEPA filter. For people with severe allergies, this sealed system is really a godsend.
Utilities
Winner: LG Cordzero Kompressor All-in-One
Mopping Ability
The LG Cordzero includes a power mop head, which is just optional on cheaper cordless vacuums such as the Samsung Jet 75. It has a pair of removable, washable pads (four pads are included in the box). LG says they can last for years.
LG says this attachment is a sort of finishing mop, but I think that’s an exaggeration. I found it worked, but it is far from replacing a traditional mop or a robot mop. It was helpful in certain areas of my home that weren’t too dirty. Never use any type of cleaning product with the mopping attachment.
I’m particularly glad that this mop head features a headlight, which makes it easy to notice dust and dirt in poorly lit corners. Unfortunately, its main floorhead doesn’t have this nifty feature.
On/Off Control
At first glance, the Dyson V11 shares a trigger switch with earlier Dyson V-line models. But its trigger turned out to be curved inward, which I didn’t like. There was discomfort when I pulled at the wrong spot, either the top or bottom part.
Unlike most Dyson cordless vacuums, the LG Cordzero has a power button on the handle. So I didn’t have to hold down a trigger to keep the vacuum running. That’s a nice feature for people with weak hands/wrists.
Display Screen and App Connectivity
The Dyson V11 Outsize has an LCD monitor that shows how much pin time is remaining. You can switch between three cleaning modes (Eco, Auto, and Boost) by clicking a button on this screen. Like the V11 Torque Drive version, it features the Dynamic Load Sensor, which can automatically adjust suction depending on the type of surface you are vacuuming.
The LG Cordzero has a handle-top display that shows the remaining battery life. Better yet, it can connect to an app (the LG ThinQ app). So, is it useful? Yes, it’s definitely useful, but it’s not strictly necessary.
During the vacuuming process, it can tell you which cleaning mode you’re in and how many times (and for how long) you have vacuumed over weeks, months, and years. The app can also diagnose problems during operation, such as with the battery, suction motor, or spinning roller. It includes a filter cleaning guide that gives the ins and outs of how to clean and maintain the filter properly. It is also possible to buy accessories within the app, such as new dust bags or filters for the AIO Tower.
