I have compared the Samsung Bespoke Jet vs Dyson V10 to see how they perform and which is better.
I was initially surprised by the ridiculously high price of the Samsung Bespoke Jet. But after looking at it exhaustively, I found it had enough reasons to justify its exorbitant price: good cleaning performance, lots of attachments, and, best of all, the smart charging station. Charging it and emptying its dust cup is really rocket science!
The Dyson V10 may seem to have lagged behind newer models in terms of technology, but its cleaning performance still shines brightly. So if you have no problem with the lack of newest punches from Dyson, such as self-adjusting suction power, a handy LCD display, and “Detect” laser technology, you’ll be fine with it.

Samsung Bespoke Jet Vs Dyson V10: Differences
Cleaning Performance
Winner: Dyson V10
Suction Power And Floorheads
On the highest setting, the Dyson V10 produces 140 AW of maximum suction power. It is weaker than the newer versions, including the Dyson V11 (185 AW), V15 (230 AW), and V12 (150 AW). The Samsung Bespoke Jet, on the other hand, comes out as one of the strongest vacuums, with a suction power of 210 AW. It is more powerful than its siblings, such as the Samsung Jet 90 (200 AW) and Jet 75 (200 AW).
Regarding cleaning heads, the Dyson V10 comes out of the box with two floorheads: a soft roller head, which is most appropriately used on hard floors, and a motorized brushroll, which can be used on all indoor surface types but is best for carpets. The Samsung Bespoke Jet comes with a dual roller cleaning head, which seems similar to the duo clean head of the Shark Vertex Pro, but it turns out this isn’t.
Hard Floor
The Bespoke Jet could handle small-to-medium debris with ease but struggled a bit with larger debris, such as cereal and fruit rings. It pushed most large debris instead of sucking it up and only picking up a few pieces when they broke. The reason for this may be that the soft roller doesn’t rotate at the same time as the regular brush roll, which is why I told you this floorhead isn’t the same as the Shark Vertex Pro’s duo clean head. Fortunately, you can purchase a dedicated soft roller specifically for this model to make it work perfectly on hard floors.
On the flip side, the Dyson V10 performed brilliantly on this series of surfaces with the soft roller, as expected. It easily sucked up almost all of the debris and left behind only about 2% of the larger debris. The soft rollers of the latest models, including the V15 and V12, are even better with a green laser, making vacuuming in dark areas easier.
Carpet
The Dyson V10, with its motorized brushroll, came out with flying colors on both low- and high-pile carpets, with a removal rate of up to 98%. It easily captured all the small and medium debris. And to deal with the larger debris, I had to reduce the suction, which Dyson recommends.
The Bespoke Jet also performed excellently on my carpets. Most debris was completely captured, except that a minor amount of the smallest debris types remained.
Hair
Both can remove all of the hair without hassle. But a decent amount of hair tangled the roller, which is a widespread issue for models without anti-twist technology. Thankfully, getting rid of the tangled hair was easy.

Attachments And Storage
Samsung Bespoke Jet | Dyson V10 Absolute |
---|---|
Pet tool Flexible tool Crevice tool Combination tool Accessory cradle Free-standing clean station Battery (X2) | Motorbar floorhead Soft roller floorhead Hair screw tool Crevice tool Combination tool Fabric and mattress tool Mini soft dusting brush Up-top adaptor Stubborn dirt brush Docking station and charger Battery (X1) |
Note that I mentioned the Dyson V10 Absolute, so if you opt for other variants, including the V10 Animal and the V10 Motorhead, you won’t get the same set of attachments.
The Dyson V10, like most of its siblings, includes a wall-mount rack station that can hold the vacuum and two accessories. Unfortunately, this vacuum doesn’t have a wand clip like the Dyson V15 Detect, so it lacks any onboard storage capability.
On the flip side, storage is the coolest part of the Bespoke Jet. The Bespoke Jet comes with a charging accessory cradle and a smart cleaning station. The cleaning station is only used for charging the vacuum and emptying the dust cup. It doesn’t offer built-in storage like the charging tower of the LG CordZero All-in-One.
The Bespoke Jet’s accessory cradle has a dedicated charging slot for the second included battery and can house four attachments. It falls into some weird limbo between being large enough to take up space on the floor and small enough to store and move with ease.
Weight And Maneuverability
The Dyson V10 weighs about 5.6 pounds, which is light enough for me to easily lift it up to clean higher areas, such as door frames and above shelves. It is even lighter, around 3.7 pounds, when converted to a handheld vacuum. With many included attachments, this unit can be used for various cleaning situations, making it highly versatile.
The Samsung Bespoke Jet also weighs only 5.7 pounds, which isn’t bad for a stick vacuum at all. It can also be reconfigured into a portable vacuum, and the swivel head makes it easy to maneuver the machine.
Battery Life
I also ran some tests to see the real-life run time on the Samsung Bespoke Jet vs Dyson V10, and here are my results.
Samsung Bespoke Jet | Dyson V10 Absolute | |
---|---|---|
Battery Life | Low mode: ≈ 45 mins | Suction 1 mode: ≈ 49.5 mins |
Med mode: ≈ 26 mins | Suction 2 mode: ≈ 26.5 mins | |
High mode: ≈ 15 mins | ||
Jet mode: ≈ 8 mins | Boost mode: ≈ 5 mins | |
Charging Time | ≈ 3 hours | ≈ 3.5 hours |
The Dyson V10 uses a click-in battery, so you can easily extend its running time by purchasing the extra battery. But its charger doesn’t have a slot for the second battery, meaning you’ll need to charge the batteries alternately.
As for the Bespoke Jet, its accessory cradle can charge the spare battery, while the charging station charges the one in the vacuum. With two fully charged batteries that you can swap out, there is nothing to worry about.
Dustbin And Filtration System
Winner: Samsung Bespoke Jet
The Dyson V10’s dust bin has a capacity of 0.75 liters, which is quite large for a cordless vacuum. To empty it, just hold the handheld unit above the dustbin and push the red slider away from you. In my opinion, this mechanism has a design flaw since it is a bit close to the vacuum’s handle, making emptying the dust cup a bit more difficult. Also, the plastic flap feels somewhat delicate, so I keep my fingers crossed that it can withstand repeated use.
The Bespoke Jet features a 0.5-liter dust cup. Its Clean Station is slightly different from the auto-empty station of the Samsung Jet 90. Instead of automatically sucking out the stuff from the dustbin once the machine is parked, the Bespoke Jet’s Clean Station requires you to push a button to start the process, and you also stop it manually. The emptying process takes 3 to 4 seconds and is a bit noisy (about 55.6 dB). The 2-liter disposable bag will need replacing when full (you get three bags with the vacuum, one installed, and two extra).
I found that the Bespoke Jet’s cleaning tower did a great job of capturing dust and dirt and not spreading them. But it didn’t do a good job of shutting the vacuum afterward – I had to put a huge amount of force to snap it into place.
As for the Dyson V10, there is a HEPA filter at the rear of the motor that is washable or replaceable if you damage or lose it. I was glad the Bespoke Jet features a HEPA filter with a multi-layer system that traps up to 99.999% of dirt and allergens. The filter is also rinsable, so you can use it many times before giving it a replacement.
Utilities
Winner: Samsung Bespoke Jet
Display Screen
There is an LED display on top of the Bespoke Jet that shows what power mode is used, how much battery life is left for each mode, and maintenance tasks. When the vacuum is parked on the charging station, it will become a battery charging indicator. The Dyson V10 has no display screen at all.
Noise
Like battery life, how noisy a vacuum cleaner is also depends mainly on the vacuuming chosen as well:
Samsung Bespoke Jet | Dyson V10 |
---|---|
Low mode: ≈ 53.7 dB | Suction 1 mode: ≈ 75.2 dB |
Med mode: ≈ 56.9 dB | Suction 2 mode: ≈ 78.4 dB |
High mode: ≈ 60.5 dB | |
Jet mode: ≈ 62.9 dB | Boost mode: ≈ 80.2 dB |
The Dyson V11 is quite noisy, but that is partly a testament to how strong its suction is.
On/Off Control
The Dyson V10, like the V11 and V15, is activated by pressing and holding a pistol-like trigger. Whenever you release it, the vacuums will stop generating suction, which would theoretically extend the machine’s runtime. But too many people complain about how tired their wrists are from holding the trigger for too long. There is a three-way switch to toggle between cleaning modes.
The operation of the Samsung Bespoke Jet relies entirely on physical buttons. The largest button in the center is used to turn on/off the vacuum, whereas the “+” and “-” buttons are for toggling between vacuuming modes.
