The Samsung Jet 90 Pro vs Complete are essentially identical, except for their sets of accessories and tools. For short, the Samsung Jet 90 Pro does not include the soft roller, which is specifically designed for cleaning hard floors. Meanwhile, The Samsung Jet 90 Complete lacks the mopping attachment, allowing the unit to act as a mop.

The Samsung Jet 90 Complete doesn’t come with the mopping attachment along with microfiber mop pads and disposable wet pads, while the Samsung Jet 90 Pro lacks a soft action brushroll.
There are basically two types of floorheads that can be combined with the Jet 90: the soft-action roller and the turbo-action brush roll. The first one is specially designed for all types of hard floors, while the second can be used to clean multiple surfaces, including bare floors and carpeted floors, but it works best for carpets. I found the Jet 90 Pro to work fine on hard floors with the turbo-action brush roll, but it couldn’t pick up all the debris, including the large ones, like the Jet 90 Pro with the soft roller.
Combined with a mopping attachment, the Samsung Jet 90 Pro can be used as a mop. This attachment has two rotating discs covered in microfiber mop pads or two disposable wet pads. But you need to vacuum the floor first with one of the two floorheads above. Then, you can switch to the mopping attachment to mop your floor. If you want something that can vacuum and mop at the same time, I recommend the Roborock H7.
I found this mopping attachment was actually better than many regular mops out there. It was really fast and very effective, and it could exert enough pressure on my floor to make it really clean.
Samsung Jet 90 Pro Vs Complete: Similarities
Design And Usability
Storage
The dimensions of this sleek and stylish vacuum are 44.9 x 8.3 x 9.9 inches. Its wand features a telescopic form, so it can be collapsed to reduce its vertical footprint.
Unlike the Dyson V15 and many other cordless vacuums, the Jet 90 comes with a charging stand, named the Z Station, instead of a wall mount. It can hold the vacuum and two attachments and has a separate slot for the spare battery to charge. Since the stand only has room for two tools, I have to store the rest of them in my cupboard.
Weight And Maneuverability
The Samsung Jet 90 weighs 6.2 pounds, making it on par with the weight of many cordless sticks out there. It is easy to move the vacuum around, but I find the machine a bit top-heavy because the entire weight of the handheld unit is totally placed in my hands. It has extremely low-profile floorheads, so it can lay flat on the ground and go further underneath the furniture for cleaning.
Battery Life
Samsung Jet 90 Pro | |
---|---|
Minimum Battery Life | ≈ 10 mins |
Maximum Battery Life | ≈ 42 mins |
Recharge Time | ≈ 215 minutes |
It takes almost 3.5 hours for the Samsung Jet 90’s battery to fully charge. So it will be annoying if the vacuum runs out of battery while you are still in the middle of the cleaning cycle. So having a spare battery is a good fail-safe. As mentioned above, the free-standing Z station has a separate slot for a second battery, which means you can always work non-stop with a fully charged battery.
Dust Cup Capacity
The Samsung Jet 90’s dust cup can hold up to 0.8 liters of dust, and emptying it isn’t simple. It doesn’t have the push-the-button mechanism like the Tineco A11 Master or the “point and shoot” emptying mechanism like the Dyson V12. Instead, I had to detach the dust cup from the handheld unit (by pressing a button in the front), remove the washable micro filter, remove the dustbin cover, and then empty all the contents. This tended to take longer than needed and made my fingers prone to getting dirty.
Fortunately, there is a solution to make emptying the dust tank easier and more convenient – using a Clean Station. It is a nice-to-have unit for people with severe allergies or those who just really want to prevent any dust from flying anywhere when emptying the dust canister.
Special Features And Utilities
On/Off Control And Cleaning Modes
The Jet 90 doesn’t use a trigger like most Dyson cordless and relies on a physical on/off button instead. On the top of its handle, there is an on/off button and two buttons used to toggle between four modes: low, medium, medium, and wet. The fourth mode activates the wet-mopping ability, provided the machine is combined with the mopping attachment.
Display Screen
The Jet 90’s screen shows the active cleaning mode and three alerts: “blockage roller,” “clogged,” and “a lack of the filter.” It doesn’t show the estimated remaining runtime, which is a big minus. Hopefully, Samsung engineers will add this must-have to subsequent models in the future.
Handheld Mode
When used as a handheld/portable unit, the Jet 90 was much lighter and very handy for cleaning inside my car, the sides of stairs, under seats, and other hard-to-reach areas.
Noise Level
This machine is even quieter than I expected! Even at the highest suction, it is quieter than many sticks from another brand. Here are the noise levels (dB) for each mode:
Low Suction. | 67 dB |
Med Suction. | 72 dB |
Medium suction. | 76 dB |
