Check out my fresh review for the debate of Bissell Crosswave Cordless Max vs Tineco Ifloor 3! It’s not easy to decide between corded and cordless vacuums, and it’s even harder choosing between 2 cordless models. But in the case of Bissell vs Tineco, my trusted and worthy winner is Tineco Ifloor 3!
The Tineco iFloor 3 allows users to clean their floors without being tethered to an outlet. Its 2-in-1 wet and dry cleaning capabilities enable it to tackle a variety of messes on hard floors. The iFloor 3 is equipped with powerful suction and a brush roll that effectively lifts and removes dirt and debris. The device is self-propelled, and its way of wetting the brushroll is much more convenient and efficient than Bissell Crosswave Cordless Max.
The Bissell CrossWave Cordless Max, despite its amazing edge-cleaning function, has a somewhat bulky design, making it challenging to maneuver in tight spaces or around furniture. Regarding its wet cleaning capabilities, the mechanism used to wet the brush roll has been reported to be inefficient at times since users have to press the button to wet the roller manually. But with its cleaning performance, I still recommend it!

Bissell Crosswave Cordless Max Vs Tineco Ifloor 3: Differences
Tineco Ifloor 3 wins 2-1 and ties once against Bissell Crosswave Cordless Max. Thanks to its convenient wet-cleaning mechanism and better maneuverability, the device dominates the round.
Cleaning performance
Winner: Tineco Ifloor 3
The Tineco iFloor 3 features a powerful motor and a dual-tank system that separates clean water from dirty water. The cleaner comes with two brushes, one for scrubbing and another for picking up debris. The Tineco iFloor 3 has received positive reviews for its ability to clean tough stains and its ease of use, and I have seen it myself. The performance is very consistent, and it takes only 2 rollovers to remove hair and debris from the floor.
As for Bissell Crosswave Cordless Max, it comes with good edge-cleaning technology that allows me to clean the corners of the walls easily. And it also does a good job of removing dry and wet debris from the floor. The thing is, the suction isn’t that potent, and even though it looks clean right after going over the floor section, I find dirt patches over the floor after it dries. So the truth is it requires more rollovers for efficient cleaning.
But, regarding run time, the latter is slightly better than the former, with respective parameters of 25 minutes and 30 minutes.
HEPA filter and dirt bin capacity
Winner: Bissell Crosswave Cordless Max
Both the Bissell Crosswave Cordless Max and Tineco iFloor 3 do come with a HEPA filter that captures up to 99.97% of small particles as small as 0.3 microns. In addition, it can be easily removed and replaced when necessary, making it simple to maintain and keep the cleaner running efficiently.
The requirement for maintenance of this filter is the same whether it’s with a corded or a cordless vacuum. Replace it every 3-6 months, depending on use frequency. But judging by how heavier the workload of a wet-dry vacuum is, changing it every 3 months is advisable. And make sure to clean the filter after every use if possible. But keep in mind that not all HEPA can be washed. So you must check carefully whenever looking into a new vacuum.
Regarding dirt chamber capacity, Bissell Crosswave Cordless Max has the upper hand with its 0.22 gallons tank compared to Tineco Ifloor 3’s more compact 0.16 gallons dirt cup.
Design and convenience
Winner: Tineco Ifloor 3
You need to keep this part in mind because it greatly impacts the daily cleaning experience. With the Tineco Ifloor 3, I don’t have to constantly press a button for the system to wet the brushroll. In other words, the wet-cleaning function is automatic. This convenience allows me to focus solely on searching for contaminated areas and pushing the vacuum around.
As for Bissell Crosswave Cordless Max, its wet-cleaning feature is time-consuming. But, of course, after starting up both models, there should be 10-15s of waiting time for the system to pump water into the brush rolls and wet them enough for effective wet-dry cleaning, which applies to both devices.
With Bissell Crosswave Cordless Max, I have to manually push the button on the handle for the system to receive the signal and send water down. That means: no pressing, no water dispensing into the roller. And continuously holding the button also doesn’t mean the water spray every second.
The water nozzle dispenses into the roller every 3-6 seconds recurrently if I hold the trigger without letting go. I don’t work Bissell Crosswave Cordless Max that way since it can cause a soaking wet floor that is slippery and difficult for the vacuum to pick up all the leftover water. So, the dispensing “timer” avoids water overuse, but it can get annoying because it’s manual.
Utilities
Tie
Both vacuums have a charging station with multiple purposes. Besides the charging function, the self-cleaning feature also is something worth considering. By plugging the vacuums into the dock and pressing the self-cleaning button, I can easily wring the brushrolls of both vacuums dry and remove the debris stuck on them.
The cleaning mechanism is very cool since all the dirt and water left under and inside the brushroll get sucked into the waste chambers. And there won’t be dirty water dripping onto the docking station thanks to this function.
There is a small detail that Bissell Crosswave Cordless Max excels regarding utilities. The device has 2 small LED lights that shine whenever I push and pull the cordless vacuum around, making it easier to detect leftover dirt patches or clean under the bed or other dark corners.
