If you are wondering which to choose between Bissell CleanView Swivel Pet vs Rewind, I think this article will help you make a decision. I have had the opportunity to test both upright vacuum cleaners, and they really work well. However, for me, Bissell 2254 CleanView Swivel Rewind still has a better performance.
The Bissell 2254 CleanView Swivel Rewind wins thanks to improvements in design, such as dirt cup capacity, cord length, hose length, and automatic cord rewind function. This machine can work well on various surfaces due to its 5 surface height adjustment settings.
The Bissell 2252 CleanView Swivel Pet, as a runner-up, is still a great vacuum cleaner. It’s also perfect for households with shedding pets as it can collect hair from any floor types.
Bissell Cleanview Swivel Pet vs Rewind: Comparison Chart
Bissell Cleanview Swivel Pet vs Rewind: Differences
After comparing the performance of these two upright vacuums, I came to the conclusion that the Bissell CleanView Swivel Rewind is superior to the CleanView Swivel Pet by a score of 3-1, with a tie coming from the latter. Take a look at the breakdown below for further information.
Cleaning Performance
The Winner: Bissell CleanView Swivel Rewind
Compatible Floor Type
- Hard Floor
Both models of Bissell upright vacuum perform admirably on hard floors and have several height adjustment options, allowing the cleaning head to be adapted to a variety of surface environments.
I put both models to the test vacuuming on hard floor with the height adjustment knob set to the bare floor mode. They were able to collect larger and finer dirt, chili fleck, and pet hair without spreading any of these particles around. Both of these items include SCATTER-FREE TECHNOLOGY, I never have to worry about scratching my hard floors when I vacuum.
- Carpets
As I said above, Bissell vacuums have a height adjustment knob. When vacuuming the carpet, before blaming the manufacturer for the vacuum’s inability to vacuum the carpet well, you need to adjust this knob a little bit.
If you want to use it on low-pile carpets and area rugs, you must turn the knob to the lowest setting. When using the vacuum on carpets with a medium pile, adjust the settings to medium. The highest setting to accommodate the vacuum for use with high-pile carpets.
To get the best results when cleaning the carpet, I turn the knob to the medium settings. To test how well the actual dirt, fine dust, pet hair, and fine cat litter can be picked up by the Bissell vacuum from a variety of different heights of carpet and area rugs. During my test, both of the vacuums performed admirably. Their soft bristles work well on carpets, making it easy to pull out hair and pet hair.
- Pet hair cleaning
Both the Bissell Cleanview Swivel Pet and Rewind truly meet any needs of pet owners. When you buy these vacuums, you’ll get a lot of tools for cleaning pet hair, like a suction-based turbo pet brush, a crevice tool, a pet hair corner tool, and so on. All of their brushes are made with soft bristles, making them ideal for removing pet hair from any surface.
My Turkish polypropylene rug was covered in dog hair, and I tried using the Bissell Cleanview Swivel Rewind to remove it. The results were even better than I had expected. My carpet that was previously coated in dog hair has regained its natural color thanks to the efficient operation of this machine.
But there is one small problem that you should know about. Although these two machines are quite effective at collecting pet hair, sucking hair frequently gets caught and twisted around the brush roll. So, after you vacuum and empty the dust bin, you should check the brush roll to see if there is a lot of pet hair stuck there.
Design & Convenience
The Winner: Bissell CleanView Swivel Rewind
Noise Level
It is unrealistic to expect vacuum cleaners to be both powerful and quiet at the same time. But what surprised me about the Bissell CleanView Swivel Rewind was that it wasn’t as loud as I thought it would be. The noise level of this vacuum is about par for the course, which means that you will be able to vacuum and carry on a conversation in a regular manner without having to raise your voice.
When compared to its counterpart, the Bissell CleanView Swivel Pet has a noise level that is around 84 decibels, making it a somewhat noisier. Depending on the surface the machine is working on, the noise level can be louder or quieter a little bit. In any circumstance, I can’t have a conversation with anyone because I can’t hear what they’re saying.
Range
When comparing the ranges of movement offered by the two machines, the Bissell CleanView Swivel Rewind has a wider range than its counterpart.
First is power cord length. Bissell CleanView Swivel Pet has a power cord length of 25 feet while the power cord length of the Rewind is 2 feet longer and is 27 feet. In the same vein, the length of the hose on the Rewind is 8 feet, whereas the length of the hose on the Swivel Pet is only 6 feet.
The longer the power cord, the more space the machine can move around. This is especially helpful if you need to clean up in a place with few electrical outlets. In the meantime, the long hose will assist you in vacuuming objects that are far away. This is especially useful when you need to sweep larger objects, which the main cleaning head is unable to accomplish.
Dirt Bin & Filter
The Winner: Tie
Dirt Bin
These two different versions of Bissell vacuum cleaners are bagless. That means that these two machines come with dirt cups rather than using filter bags in their filtration systems. These dirt cups are equipped with multi-cyclonic cleaning technology, which not only improves the overall efficiency of the canister vacuum cleaner but also maintains a clean filter for an extended period of time.
The dirt tank size of the two machines is the same, and both are 1 liter. for me, this capacity is a little small and these dirt cups could be larger.
The dirt that is sucked into it will not come back to the air, and when you are finished vacuuming, you will need to empty the dust container, and you’re done.
Filter
These products shares the same Multi-Level Filtration system. When it comes to the filtering capabilities of these two machines, I do not discover anything that stands out as particularly noteworthy or distinct between them. I want to point out that none of them have HEPA filtration. This can be seen as one of the bad things I found in these two models. This filtration system, however, performed just as well as HEPA filtration in my experience.
Utilities
The Winner: Bissell CleanView Swivel Rewind
Bissell CleanView Swivel Rewind and Swivel Pet have many similar utilities, such as an airflow indicator, a rotating head, and dual edge cleaning, etc. There are still some small differences between these two vacuums. Specifically, the automatic rewind is a feature that is exclusive to the Bissell CleanView Swivel Rewind and cannot be found on the Swivel Pet model.
With the automatic cord rewind function, you’ll be able to store the cord in a tidy manner without having to wrap it. When it comes to the Swivel Pet, you will need to manually wrap the cord.
